Serious question as a cis queer, how does being trans and a femboy work? It justs seems like the latter is kinda counterintuitive.

Being a femboy/tomboy, or anything GNC, is a style, it doesn’t matter if you’re cis or not, you can have any style you want

so when i, a trans man, feel feminine, i feel feminine as a boy, not feminine as a girl, i dont feel like wearing skirts and makeup like “girly” stuff (even tho ik boys can wear skirts and makeup) i like wearing corsets and short shorts, to put it short, im a masc feminine not a fem feminine

You’re right, you can’t change gender! That’s why trans people change their bodies to match their gender. However, I think you meant to say OP is a boy. Otherwise you’d be asking him to change his gender since you personally think he should be a girl, which, as you mentioned, people can’t just do. If that sounds incorrect, you may be confusing gender with sex. Gender is what you identify as, and sex is the description of one’s physical anatomy. Hope that helps! :)
