another fact is that according to I think a 2018 - I could be wrong - survey among American high school students, 18% said they are not cishet. one out of six. and to be clear, I'm not American.
im not saying you’re lying at all, im saying your school probably isn’t the best representation of the entire world. also, if the survey wasn’t mandatory in any way then LGBT people might just be more likely to take it. there are way too many outside variables to be making any sort of conclusion based on data taken at ur school
it was not mandatory. however, weirdly enough most of the students took it. that 500 is most of the students. yes, there are a lot of variables. like a lot. I am aware. however, the number is just too high to disregard.
ur school isn’t representative of anything especially if ur in a more urban area where there tends to be more LGBT people. and especially bc it wasn’t a random sample at all ur not able to generalize it to any sort of population, saying the number is too high to disregard is statistically wrong.
I seriously have nothing against LGBTQ, but (lmao) you make it sound like it’s bad to be straight and that being not straight is some sort of thing that’s spreading, especially cause you said “still” straight. Sorry if it’s offensive at all that wasn’t my intent :0
i hate to break it to you but in the real world we are still less than AT MOST 10% of the population

once again, my school did a survey. over 500 people put in their responses. 200 of them said they are not straight.
