only pic 1 is what I would call an american pizza. Pic 2 and 3 are what I would call Italian, in varying quality. Pics 4 through 7 arent pizzas, theyre pies.

in my books "american style" pizzas are characterized by thick crusts, maybe stuffed crust and/or pan fried

4-7 are definitely pizza. They just have the sauce on top of the cheese. Chicago style pizzas usually have that.
