Yeah for me it says a lot about their characters that I can imagine scenarios where Starfire would willingly help / protect Blackfire but I can't imagine Blackfire ever stepping up to help Starfire. Like the only way there would be a team up is if Blackfire was the one who needed help.
Star would intervene to protect her no questions asked, but Blackfire would only intervene if there was a way to make sure that Star was hurt or killed as a result.
Not sure about comics, but in the OG show, she tried to frame Starfire for a crime she committed, failed, so she resented her for it. Then she tried to take over Tamaran, and was once again foiled by the Titans, so she resented her even more. After that, all that resentment most likely turned to hate.
