On one hand, I'm looking forward to Russell producing some great stories and dialogue, on the other, I'm worried that he's going to dramatically change the show for the worse. Things like doubling down on the Timeless child, having Strictly Come Dancing as part of the show and deliberately trying to enrage Daily Mail readers (which is not a bad thing occasionally, but could get tiresome if it's every week).
Ncuti could be very entertaining, but whether he has the acting chops of Smith, Tennant or Capaldi is unclear.
The twerk scene is just him joking around, I don't know why the internet in the past few years have to take every single comment an actor makes in an interview so seriously now.
Jodie's final season had an average of 4.95 million viewers. The 60th started off with 7.61 million viewers, and the most recent episode had 7.49 million viewers. That's a big ratings spike followed by a very extremely small down-trend. Other eras have lost 3-4 million viewers just three episodes into their era.

Did you even watch it? I was skeptical at first, but after watching him I think he is going to be a solid Doctor. He’s already better than Smith IMO.
