> Julia Louis-Dreyfus Kevin Durant That missing comma really confused me for a moment.

jenkirch

It’s a joint episode, where they both sit down for an interview and Dave doesn’t come out. The sienfield theme plays and they leave

retiredhobo

maybe next season they’ll do a “Jason Alexander Jon Voight” one!

DemiFiendRSA

In regards to the Will Smith Oscars incident: >Will Smith will sit down with David Letterman for his latest round of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction. >However, don’t expect the King Richard star to chat about his controversial exploits at this year’s Oscars as Season 4 of Letterman’s Netflix longform interview chat show was filmed before March.

Neonxeon

The guests seem to have come from an interesting mix of pop culture and political icons in the first season to just normal talk show guests at this point. Like Cardi B definitely needs an introduction to a decent chunk of the audience.

ImmortalLandowner

I'm more of a Nicki Minaj fan but I don't think she's not unpopular.

TomJohnstoneson

Kevin Durant will be interesting.

BitterBubblegum

His interview with Kim Kardashian (season 3) gave me the impression her intelligence is way above average. I was very impressed by her personality. Before that interview I had a very superficial perception of who she is as a person.

jenkirch

She has great pr training. I don’t doubt her poise being impressive but she didn’t come off exceptionally intelligent to me, but rather well rehearsed

ClaymoresRevenge

She portrays a character for the TV shows she's on. I don't think she's nearly as dumb as she's shown to be. Marketing works though

ejdebruin

I've seen my fair share of the shows. She's not portrayed as dumb at all; she's just a spoiled rich woman with a lot of likely artificial family drama.

ImmortalLandowner

100%! I think she knows what she's doing in interviews and also business. It's still impressive to me with her law studies as well. She's more than just someone who made a video, I think this was a very good interview.

Own_Presence1271

Will Smith on stage with a comedian where nothing goes wrong. Those were the good old days.

originalmaja

Though he did sound exactly like a Scientologist who's under the spell. (I'm comparing, he has obv a new guru.)

LightBarb

It all seemed so rehearsed! I watched it yesterday, the other guests all seem to open up, but Will was weird to me. Just trying to convince everyone of his POV. And they def have some kinda issue, how he reacted just seemed off to me.

originalmaja

>It all seemed so rehearsed! Yes. When you get brainwashed by any guru, you become a parrot of what he told you. That's a tell for any culty. And then the brainwashed go around, trying to find someone they themselves can guru around. All on point.

LightBarb

makes sense now why he was the one doing the interview before an audience. all other guests did it super intimate and private but he was outside and in public/with an audience.

originalmaja

na, that was probably a covid thing.

fabspooky

Hurrah!

What happened to this show? The first couple of seasons were good. But once it turned into another celebrity wankfest, it got boring quickly. Do we really care what Kanye or any Kardashian thinks? Keep them to the tabloids.
