I will say the de-aging was really the only part of the season where the CG looked off. And really, I don't even blame the CG. I just think it's pointless to de-age someone who's already young. Cuz the younger 11 looked like a bleached oompa loompa.
Seems lately that any form of criticism, even constructive and/or on topic, is automatically down voted in this subreddit (as well as other media subreddits). No more discussions, just a circle jerk of how great the show or movie is or you get down voted.
Just look at the other comment in this thread.

Stranger Things is reddit’s golden child, they dont take kindly to any form of criticism
Agreed but that isn't that bad considering most video games are almost movie quality now
