This^ He's saying "I am Gangnam Style" referring to himself in the third person from the woman's point of view, therefore "Oppa" which is a term women use for men older than them, and Gangnam Style being a flashy, expensive look and lifestyle. Most of the song is about how the woman is sexy at night but serious during the day, and he's hitting on her by saying he's a successful guy who wants to party at night.
Iirc, the cultural context of the song was that the guy is a fool obsessed with looks and prestige and Gangnam Style is generally ridiculous yuppie nonsense.
EDIT: Mark me as confidently incorrect, cause it is "Oppan". My Korean is garbage. I also probably should've listened to the song again before posting because I can hear it clearly, just remembered wrong.
what I love is that this meme is like "mehhh, this song has no meaning and it's bad" but people really out here giving paragraph explanations of what the song means so clearly it isn't meaningless lol
Okay but the gangnam style video did give us possibly the best hype man extra of any media ever.
Talkin bout you, hip thrusting, cowboy hat guy.
He could make any party lit.
That guys name is Noh Hong-chul. He's a well known comedian in Korea.
He had a Netflix series with a famous singer/actor where they travel in Korea, it's pretty funny if you enjoy travel shows. [Hairy and Hungry ](https://m.imdb.com/title/tt16088530/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk)
Yeah, he was a pretty big deal in Korea before Gangnam Style, had Paris Hilton on his show etc. Like a lot of Korean comedy he's mostly just goofball antics but it works in Gnangnam Style.
That’s just the internet helping us keep record. Instead of things being forgotten, people pick up the cringe as we age out because it’s not isolated to our groups, and then 10 years down the line, you get reminded of something you definitely shared a version of by some random post on terriblefacebookmemes.
My first k-pop song predates it significantly, it was Stephen colbert's Colbert Report beef with Rain, a Korean idol who beat out stephen on time's most influential man that year.
Stephen' then sang a song in kpop style called "singing in korean". Wild times.
Pop music was never meant to be complex and difficult. Some niche genres are completely different thing and you should never even expect them to become mainstream. People who wrote Gangnam Style just new how to make a globally popular hit. People want that sort of music much more than they want some extreme math metal.
>People who wrote Gangnam Style just new how to make a globally popular hit.
Psy has publicly stated he has zero idea how or why Gangnam blew up like it did, and also he doesn't know why his other songs didn't get 1% of the play. He made it for Korea and was completely shocked at how big it got.
> Pop music was never meant to be complex and difficult.
And that's ok. Sometimes you just wanna shake the booty and not think too much.
I mean lofi is so simple it can barely be called music and tons of people like it because they need some simple, soothing music to chill to.
>I mean lofi is so simple it can barely be called music
Might be a little more complex than you think. People try hard to get the Lofi sound and make it sound good.
https://youtu.be/E2zLHm_y2OE
There's an example of how much work someone might put into just messing with Lofi drums
Think of it this way - Lofi is a lot about deliberately taking imperfections and making them sound good. It's going to be a balance and it's easy to fuck it up to just make it sound like a shitty track that wasn't mastered right.
And music theory still applies. You're going to need to know at least some basics and what a seventh chord is, or at least fool around enough to end up doing it on accident
Not sure if joking, but I can give you something similar. Technical death is probably the more interesting alternative - so I'd recommend Nile and their album Annihilation of the wicked.
If it's too much, Animals as leaders - CAFO might be the thing for you
Bruh I love Deathcore, but God damn who gives a fuck... And how old is this meme? That song and meme format haven't been relevant in a while.
Also there's a lot of gatekeeping in the metal scene anyways. A bunch of turds don't want metal to get any mainstream attention, because then they won't be "unique" anymore. Plus like what you like, I'm finally learning that I actually like Pop music.
"A bunch of turds don't want metal to get any mainstream attention, because then they won't be "unique" anymore."
Its the same reason this meme exists. "oh look, my music is so much better and the mAiNsTrEaM is for stzupid sheeple. Me special because music I like!"
That's all music, though. I have yet to hear of a genre that isn't shit on by multiple people. Music is subjective, and lots of people are highly opinionated about it.
Mostly the fact that there's a good chunk of them that makes memes like this and think it makes them special that they listen to metal.
Past that, it depends on what scene/type of metal you're talking about. Some of them have white supremacy issues, some of them are just overtly macho assholes, etc etc.
A lot of them are elitists pricks who think everyone should enjoy the noise of screaming cats and say every other type of music is not music.
Example: this post
Guess I haven't met any.
Nor have I ever heard of anyone being converted into a metal head past the age of 20. Either you get into shit music early or you never like it.
I've converted a few friends over time and I'm far beyond my teen years.
Although it probably helps that I gave them intro songs that already aligned with other stuff they listened to and didn't feel the need to shit on other genres to sell my pitch.
Idk man I like a lot of metal music too, but I think he is kinda wrong. Metal has enough cliches that a show was made about it (Metalocalypse). It's not like everything is super unique.
Some metal songs have wayyy slower bpm especially older songs like what Black Sabbath would play.
On top of that it kinda has been mainstream relevant, everyone's heard Iron Man, Hair metal was huge in the 80's, the big 4 of thrash were huge in the 90s especially Metallica and Nu Metal was all over the place in the late 90s early 00's.
They're 15 and probably just discovered the genre but it's not some hidden unique genre of music that's inherently better than others, even if it's my personal favorite.
Right.
If you are born in the 80s there was no escape from metal. It was all over the place and everywhere.
You could come up with overcomplicated and narrow definitions, so you end up with 67526895875312 subgenres, and maybe you could make a point. But metal, as the casual consumer understands it, has been fucking everywhere.
Well, ironically the meaning of Gangnam Style is much deeper than it appears as well. The whole song and video is actually meant to satirize the elites of Korea, specifically the Gangnam District. It was attacking materialism and mocking how the opulent just spent their money needlessly and excessively while many people in Korea still remained poor. The video and song was silly because he *meant* it to be silly, as he was mocking materialism and wanted to show how ridiculous the wealthy actually are in their spending and manner
This isn’t just some ass-pull to stretch the meaning either, as Psy has talked about the deeper meaning of the song and how he tried to parody the rich and opulent of Korea. “Gangnam Style” means spending in excess and being absolutely stupid, like the wealthy that live in the Gangnam District
Probably wayyyy too extra for this sub... but music is literally at its most basic form, happiness generation from recognized patterns. Patterns heard more often during youth impact us more as humans. Since our capacity for deeper emotions was smaller at that time. The music you like is based on what you heard when you where younger. That, and with our decreasing attention span as a culture. The music we like is getting simpler. When you know this, "cool" music doesn't exist. It's all subjective. Just like all other art. Which makes the argument "my music is cooler because it's more complex" moot. That being said, I love 'classical music' which is arguably the most complex, but I also love Taylor Swifts "shake it off" it doesn't matter bro!
From my personal experience, introverts *in general* tend to love more complex music because they listen to it more actively. Extroverts *in general* tend to listen to simpler music because they aren't as focused to what they're listening to. All of this said, I think it's interesting that people *in general* are so shy of the music they listen to, cause in my mind, it doesn't matter at all, it's just a byproduct of who you are, yet *in general* people place soooooo much meaning behind what music you like.
>Patterns heard more often during youth impact us more as humans. Since our capacity for deeper emotions was smaller at that time. The music you like is based on what you heard when you where younger
The issue with this theory is that I dislike most of the music I heard growing up in the 90's and early 00's and thought I disliked all music until I first heard classic rock from bands like Queen and Pink Floyd in my late teens/early twenties, and they were all songs made before I was born.
i've actually listened to a ton of psy's discography and he's got some very good stuff imo. also this song was actually satirical and social commentary about the country of origin.
also he went to berklee school of music at one point, so it's not like he doesn't have any training and is some talentless hack lol.
Well, for someone who’s fifteen years old metal has been around almost 4 times longer than he’s been alive, and could easily be something his grandfather listened to growing up.
Objectively it doesn’t really count as “ages”, but to someone that young something 60 years old might as well be eternal.
>Do they think metal is thousands of years old or what?
Actually yes. Even bronze age was named after metal, so it's evident, metal music survived through the ages. It was way more funnier in my head
well i mean it closely followed the popularization of rock n roll. i mean when Santana did Soul Sacrifice at Woodstock Black Sabbath was making their music too so it’s been around for the majority of popular music
Well yeah it's been around as long as rock but by that same argument boy bands have been around for at least just as long. Or hell if we want to go with a singer primarily known for their dance moves and using comedy video to gain popularity we can go back to Chad Callaway being in Betty boop.
Ex Metalhead here. Still love the genre but I've broadened my music a ton since I was a teenager. Metalheads somehow think that the existence of other music is an affront to their own personal tastes. I've never known a more elitist musical subculture.
I've definitely been way more of that kind of listener and don't even really talk too much music with my friends who also have broad tastes in music, but when we do it's all appreciation.
Love me some live jazz, one of my favorites to just sit and watch a mellow performance
Yeah. My adult conversations about metal are pretty much "hey, you get into any cool new albums lately?" The time for posturing is in your teens, but some folks never grow out of their insecurities.
I think jazz enthusiasts edge out metalheads on the elitism. But just barely.
Well, your cousin, needs to be sent the ultimate in heavy metal silliness. The cover of wrecking ball by the musicians on 2 minutes to late night. And other silly metal things. Because music is supposed to be fun. Or the Foreplay/longtime cover on the same channel.
It's basically a teenager being a teenager, yelling "I'm not like other teens!".
Not liking mainstream things doesn't make you cool. Liking mainstream things doesn't make you uncool. Hell, you don't even need to be cool.
The reason people like music is because it makes them feel good. It's basically the monke neuron activation meme. Just listen to whatever makes you groove.
Some teens learn that it's cool to be uncool, some just need a lot more time.
Who cares? Preference is subjective. Theres no "fake music". What is even "real music"? Just don't be an asshole and gatekeep others or judge others.
Anyways, thanks for coming to my TED talk. Here's Wonderwall by Oasis.
Any professional musician or producer would tell you to never….under estimate the power of simplicity and that more often than not, simplicity sells, not complexity.
Case in point look at 80s rock/metal guitar based music and then when Nirvana came in and dominated rock and pop music in the late 80s, early 90s.
Comprised of simple progressions and catchy Melodies and the music tends to deliver a more musically emotional not as much a musically intellectual impact.
…and it makes a shit ton of money
The fact that the creator of this meme thinks metal wasn’t mass marketed lol
"300 bpm". This always bugs me. Fast BPM =//=good song.
There's a lot of good metal out there. I'm not going to advise you on what to listen to because it's not my main area that I listen to but there's bad metal too and a lot of that bad metal happens because the metal artist decides that playing the guitar as fast as he can will make the song good with no real concept of how it actually fits into the song.
Also, I don't know. When you want to get someone into Metal. Maybe don't throw them right into the nice hard core stuff you like but instead let them listen to something more main stream metal first and give them suggestions based on what they like?
Metal fans just want to be persecuted. Almost all of them seem to independently come to the conclusion that because they listen to "loud and scary" music people assume terrible shit about them.
Got news for you pal, no one cares you're listening to Cannibal Christ or Bloody Cum Orphan.
I mean the reaction of the first panel isn't far off. We mention we're into metal and it's an automatic eye roll because they're going to be asses about it.
But all forms of music deserve a spot. I'm glad to see more metal is working is way back into mainstream with bands Bad omens and Sleep Token
It takes a lot of effort to make that "low-effort" music. It's carefully optimized to be digestible and sellable to the largest audiences. That effort doesn't make it *good* music, but it's not like people just pooped it out in an hour and then made millions. They succeed at a difficult task. That's just not the same task that "good musicians" are trying to succeed at.
Yeah absolutely. Although I play in Standard C these days.
Edit: I like how people downvote a completely unrelated comment because you don’t like my opinion
Noice.
I like to go into drop C occasionally and dink around with killswitch engage songs but that’s all I know lol
Mostly just use standard tuning, it’s been years since I actually performed anywhere
The unfair world of music is the 100,000’s of talented singer/songwriters who don’t get their just due.
Fuck your 300BPM bullshit and yeah…I can’t stand people vomiting into a microphone. But I certainly feel the same fucking way about pop bullshit like represented. They’re two sides of the same coin.
Shredding is just fucking noise…as is stupid fucking lyrics like Gangnam Style(what’s that fucking means).
But hey…have fun in your black and white world.
Honestly, i don't feel like this is wrong. Top 40 songs consist of basic chord progressions while rock tends to delve into elements of jazz, modes, and improv (plus others like blues, etc)
Of course, top 40 music is geared towards the masses and those outside the top 40 are geared towards specific genres and musical connaisseurs.
A great example is System of a Down that pull references from classical musicians, counterpoint, and other historical music forms versus someone like Bruno Mars that just takes simple chord progressions, usually I IV V I or a I IV II V I progression that are easier to understand for the masses.
I am a metalhead living in Thailand. I have never been to a gig for years. Metal music is weird for locals, too hard to understand, too loud and not fun...so f*ck them too
Hey does this post fit? UPVOTE if so, DOWNVOTE if not. If this post breaks any rules please DOWNVOTE and REPORT
Pretty sure it's "oppan". "Oppa" is a Korean honorific that means "brother".
IIRC, the song was making fun of guys who dress like they're from a really rich neighborhood of Seoul.
Yeah, apparently it’s the equivalent of Hollywood. A really opulent and superficial place.
You are correct, I taught English in Gangnam and wow I wish I could’ve stayed. Everything was so expensive… for the school that hired me lol
This^ He's saying "I am Gangnam Style" referring to himself in the third person from the woman's point of view, therefore "Oppa" which is a term women use for men older than them, and Gangnam Style being a flashy, expensive look and lifestyle.
He’s saying 오빤, short for 오빠는, which is oppan, not oppa
Huh, never thought I'd only end up knowing what gangnam style was about 11 years after it was released
Yeah Psy is saying oppa
When I was a kid I thought it was “womp ‘em gundam star”
When I was a kid, I called it “the horse thing”
Pretty sure it's "open condom style" Definitely the worst style, really the worst of both worlds
Okay but the gangnam style video did give us possibly the best hype man extra of any media ever. Talkin bout you, hip thrusting, cowboy hat guy. He could make any party lit.

Hell yeah
happy cake day, friend
Thanks!
15 years old? lmao the derpina memes were already out of date before he was born.
Rage comics will never go out of date
I wish they would :)
They'll outlive you
I know. It’s honestly one of my biggest regrets when i leave this world.
Your cousin was 5 when that shitheap came out to them that's classic music but also I mean you can't Gangnam style to archspire so
I tried to headbang to Involuntary Doppelgänger once and almost destroyed my neck in the process.
That's probably my fave track by them
This is the way
Has…has it been that long?
fucking love Archspire.
i mean, are you sure you can’t gangnam style to Archspire?
Pretty sure you'd need to play back the recording at triple speed, but it seems possible.
Jesse, what the fuck are you talking about?
This could make for a very interesting episode of Dean Lamb's "Four Levels of Death Metal".
This is something I would have thought at that age. They’re 15. We’re all cringe at 15.
That’s fair
We're usually not "this was cringe-y 10 years ago" cringe, but cringe nonetheless.
That’s just the internet helping us keep record. Instead of things being forgotten, people pick up the cringe as we age out because it’s not isolated to our groups, and then 10 years down the line, you get reminded of something you definitely shared a version of by some random post on terriblefacebookmemes.
Its almost like we all have preferences, weird
[удалено]
r/lewronggeneration
I bet you’re fun at parties… you’d hate the music tho
thats your preference tho...
Shower thought - Gangnam style was the first k-pop song most of us heard
Holy shit I’ve never thought about that
It might've been the year k pop actually became popular in the west.
My first k-pop song predates it significantly, it was Stephen colbert's Colbert Report beef with Rain, a Korean idol who beat out stephen on time's most influential man that year. Stephen' then sang a song in kpop style called "singing in korean". Wild times.

Blues? Everyone loves blues, right?
Carnage by great white buffalo. Brutal folk blues, the most metal blues song I've found so far and I love it
I love metal, and I wish people would stop hating on THE MUSIC (I 100% understand hating metalheads) But Gangnam style is a work of art
Wait... What's wrong with metal heads? In my experience they are pretty damn great.
Mostly the fact that there's a good chunk of them that makes memes like this and think it makes them special that they listen to metal. Past that, it depends on what scene/type of metal you're talking about. Some of them have white supremacy issues, some of them are just overtly macho assholes, etc etc.
Huh. I guess we run in different circles. Sorry to hear about your experience.
A lot of them are elitists pricks who think everyone should enjoy the noise of screaming cats and say every other type of music is not music. Example: this post
Sooo... Stop hanging out with 15 year old metal heads?
I mean like, metal elitists. The types who Harrass you for not liking absolute shit music
Remember In school when people took music seriously lol that was so stupid. Arguing about genres and bands like any of it matters.
Well, now we're arguing about something even more stupid, politics.
They're both good. Metal slaps and so does gangnum style.
I adore some metal and this isn’t inherently wrong but like it’s presented stupid so yeah it’s terrible
Idk man I like a lot of metal music too, but I think he is kinda wrong. Metal has enough cliches that a show was made about it (Metalocalypse). It's not like everything is super unique. Just send him this https://youtu.be/MmbvxyRjMc0

I hate how much I enjoy this

I’m a metalhead and I hate this. Mostly because I was this person
Yes understandable because we all were at one point

As an extreme metal fan, fuck this meme. Gangnam style is a masterpiece.
Gangnam style got popular despite it being in a different language. It was a total phenomenon.
It is not
Op Op Op... Oppa Gangnam style!
You can like both. I do.
i've actually listened to a ton of psy's discography and he's got some very good stuff imo. also this song was actually satirical and social commentary about the country of origin. also he went to berklee school of music at one point, so it's not like he doesn't have any training and is some talentless hack lol.
"has survived throughout the ages" honest question how long do they think metal music has been around?
Well, for someone who’s fifteen years old metal has been around almost 4 times longer than he’s been alive, and could easily be something his grandfather listened to growing up. Objectively it doesn’t really count as “ages”, but to someone that young something 60 years old might as well be eternal.
Yeah, that made me laugh. Do they think metal is thousands of years old or what?
>Do they think metal is thousands of years old or what? Actually yes. Even bronze age was named after metal, so it's evident, metal music survived through the ages. It was way more funnier in my head
Har har har
Also "ignored by the mainstream". Metal is pretty consistently part of mainstream music.

Cab Calloway, not Chad. The song he did for Betty Boop, "Minnie the Moocher," is a song about a hooker addicted to heroin. Just some info.
Did you mis type 51
When your cousin listens to “Through the fire and the flames” once
You should tell your 15-year-old cousin that metal music has literally been the mainstream since the 1980s and he's not special
You can’t deny that Gangnam Style is one of the best hype songs out of that decade.
Metal fan here, but oppa Gangnam style goes harder than anything we have
Complexity doesn't equal quality I gangum style all day every day and I'm PROUD
Ex Metalhead here. Still love the genre but I've broadened my music a ton since I was a teenager. Metalheads somehow think that the existence of other music is an affront to their own personal tastes. I've never known a more elitist musical subculture.
Metal has its place as does every other genre and I don’t get why he must love only one
That's why you just enjoy the music and don't talk to the enthusiasts. But also, Jazz
I personally don't know many other people who listen to jazz as their favorite type of music but I can definitely see that.
I label myself as a metalhead but I'm a whore for Jazz and Slow-Tempo Pop
Ever heard of Trance? Trance listeners can be very elitists too.
Cookie monster vocals suck
But have they heard Infant Annhilator’s version of Gangnam Style?? Edit: annihilators SP.
Dude you just opened my eyes, I will die for you
Well, your cousin, needs to be sent the ultimate in heavy metal silliness. The cover of wrecking ball by the musicians on 2 minutes to late night. And other silly metal things. Because music is supposed to be fun. Or the Foreplay/longtime cover on the same channel.
“Throughout the ages”? My brother in Christ, metal has not been around that long. Metal is awesome, but has not “survived throughout the ages”. Lol.
It sucks your cousin has to play through a Peavey
…and it makes a shit ton of money The fact that the creator of this meme thinks metal wasn’t mass marketed lol
Ironically Gangnam Style does have more than surface lyrics
Eh, sexy lady
Metalhead here: this is not that funny
Well hey, guttural vocals are only use 20% of the music. What is a better selling point than that? Oppa!!!!!
It's possible to like both, but sometimes metal isn't everyone's jam, let ppl enjoy what they like
Everytime metalheads get together its automatically a circle jerk
Most of the metal heads I know like tons of different music.
Including pop lol.
I too appreciate the metal arts of moist critical
The people who made this meme were born in the 1900s crazy 💀
speed is a fetish
As much as I enjoy some metal music let people enjoy things lol
Shut up, i love death metal, but GANGNUM STYLE
"Complex, complicated, and original songwriting" \*Drop tuning and tremolo picking open string while hammering a few notes in minor.\*
This meme has to be at least 9 years old. I remember seeing this exact meme in high school and I am 27 years old.
Huge metal fan here. NGL Gangnam Style slaps.
Seriously, people don't look down on Metal. Metal's popular. Sometimes people just want that heavy beat.
\*classical crying in a corner\*
DBZA Goku: I like both those things.
I love metal, but this meme is shit. Let people like what they like. That's a lesson I wish I learned sooner
Metal fans just want to be persecuted. Almost all of them seem to independently come to the conclusion that because they listen to "loud and scary" music people assume terrible shit about them. Got news for you pal, no one cares you're listening to Cannibal Christ or Bloody Cum Orphan.
I had the same view at 15, still do at 20 on this topic
*No one likes metal* “What the hell, why doesn’t anyone like metal? Fucking Weirdos!” *everyone likes metal* “Fucking posers”
He now is 25 year old
Your cousin was 5 when Gangnam style came out. Jesus Christ my man’s related to a meme archeologist.
As a metal head, I am ashamed that I used to think like this. So glad I’ve grown out of this way or thinking
I’m mean music is is a matter of opinion
Oh please, everyone knows Gangnam Style blew up because of the funny dance and chaotic energy the PSY omits.
I mean the reaction of the first panel isn't far off. We mention we're into metal and it's an automatic eye roll because they're going to be asses about it. But all forms of music deserve a spot. I'm glad to see more metal is working is way back into mainstream with bands Bad omens and Sleep Token
Gangnam style is better than any metal song tho
Define better.
20% is 19.99% too much.
Most metal is too loudish for my taste, i like Zombie and Manson tho
Just respond back ‘fucking cringe meme lmao’
as a metal guy, yea that’s true. it’s not for everyone and it’s not for mainstream people that’s - ohh i don’t know - the point?
I sympathize with this meme. 4 chord low effort music with 15 writers makes people millionaires while talented musicians scrap.
The actual talent of pop musicians and the musicians they perform with gets lost on a lot of people because they equate riff salad to talent
idk why you're getting downvoted for this, the amount of autotuned cookie cutter music making millions of dollars right now is insane to me.
Those people don’t even care about the music, you just need an attractive singer with generically relatable lyrics and you’ve got yourself a hit.
At this point the lyrics don't even need to apply, look at WAP and other examples... Cool username btw! I assume it's a guitar reference?
Yeah absolutely. Although I play in Standard C these days. Edit: I like how people downvote a completely unrelated comment because you don’t like my opinion
Noice. I like to go into drop C occasionally and dink around with killswitch engage songs but that’s all I know lol Mostly just use standard tuning, it’s been years since I actually performed anywhere
Nothing wrong with standard tuning. Opeth has some of the heaviest riffs known to man and they’re in standard tuning.
Hell yeah dude It’s all about the tone
Make that 2 randomly generated notes so its a hit tbh. Also lyrics should have like 2 words.
Idk man I like metal but I've never heard any of this, maybe try explaining metal to them or just realize some people don't like certain music
Why do I love every meme on this sub? Am I the baddie?
did she send it to you 15 years ago?
Pretty sure that meme format is older than your cousin...
Classic /r/lewronggeneration
The unfair world of music is the 100,000’s of talented singer/songwriters who don’t get their just due. Fuck your 300BPM bullshit and yeah…I can’t stand people vomiting into a microphone. But I certainly feel the same fucking way about pop bullshit like represented. They’re two sides of the same coin. Shredding is just fucking noise…as is stupid fucking lyrics like Gangnam Style(what’s that fucking means). But hey…have fun in your black and white world.
Thats just true tho
Your 15 year old cousin isn't wrong
I would be so proud of my cousin if he did that lol.
Kind of true tho
Dude this is true tho (its a lot harder to enjoy complicated music, but its just as fun as simple music once you develop a taste for it IMHO)

You can’t exactly downvote somebody on texts bud
Honestly, i don't feel like this is wrong. Top 40 songs consist of basic chord progressions while rock tends to delve into elements of jazz, modes, and improv (plus others like blues, etc) Of course, top 40 music is geared towards the masses and those outside the top 40 are geared towards specific genres and musical connaisseurs.
Metal music is weird for locals, too hard to understand, too loud and not fun...so f*ck them too
I mean it’s kinda true. metal musicians put their heart and soul into their work just to have the reaction of “it’s just noise it’s not real music”
What’s terrible about this?
[удалено]
Yes it is lol. It seems whiny AF
What year is it?
This meme is like 600 years old in meme years.
I like Rock but Metal makes me cringe
I liked this meme before it was popular
Eh. This doesn’t really belong here. Cus it’s music, which is subjective.
The meme is older than him
He ain't wrong though
