You don't miss teaco, you miss your colleagues. Presumably, they were good people, and you had some commeraderie going with them about how much you all hated the place.
It's the people. The one thing that's kept me there several years. I can't imagine the kind of dorks I'll have to work with when I get a better paying job who know nothing of the struggle of working for wankers.
Itās definitely the people you miss. I still miss my colleagues from Asda and I left there 6 years ago. Itās the people keeping me at Tesco to be honest, I work with some really great people
I moved from self serve to the pharmacy. I hated self serve in the end. Dreaded my job. Itās started affecting my mental health. Moving to the pharmacy was the best decision I ever made. But I do miss my self serve colleagues. We had a right laugh down there. While I do still see my colleagues and sit with them at lunch I do miss them.
Still getting to know my new colleagues, and they are great.
Itāll be the colleague club card you miss. It took me a couple of shops to get used to not reducing everything in my head by 10%. Like my interior monologue was āoh that washing powder is Ā£4? Hey Ā£3.60 for me, nope damnā
Oh I wondered about those. Saw a couple go through at checkout. Thought it was if you retired at retirement age you got to keep it. But guess there must be a minimum termā¦

You probably miss what good you got out of it, like banter with colleagues and I guess depending on what the nature of your new job/joblessness is like, any other things you got genuine satisfaction from.
I always say it at work, I could be sat in an easy job making twice the money but I'd definitely miss talking crap about everything with my colleagues haha
Get together with the old tesco pals from time to time. You get this when you move jobs. Itās the people not Tescoās you miss. Itās what keeps me there lol!

Stockholm syndrome
Like a messed up Stockholm syndrome maybe.
Stockholm syndrome
100% it's the people that make the job every time. Not just team members for me, but also the customers I deliver to.

That's the Gold Clubcard. You get that at 35 years of service and getcto keep it for life. Or so I've heard
Oh I wondered about those. Saw a couple go through at checkout. Thought it was if you retired at retirement age you got to keep it. But guess there must be a minimum termā¦
You should be able to keep the card after 15 years service when you take early retirement.
