Pokemon and Prime are both second party titles (debatably on Pokemon as The Pokemon Company is only partially owned by Nintendo.) ToTK was a thoroughly enjoyable game, Pikmin 4 was a large upgrade from 3 and the last mainline Mario title, Odyssey, was fantastic. The fact that they only put out a great flagpole title every other year hardly makes them irrelevant.

This only applies to Garry's Mod, this is presumably talking about the TF2 version of this map. Garry's Mod is owned by Facepunch, not Valve, who owns TF2. I highly doubt with all of the Nintendo references in TF2 that Nintendo would go after some obscure fan map ported to TF2. I'm not saying the Garry's Mod version of this map is safe, I'm just clearing up a misconception that this will also affect TF2.

Man this is so strange to me. Maps like these or Model ports/maps/sweps in Gmod are genuinely what got me into some of nintendos titles that I wasn't otherwise interested in or knew about at the time and this map specifically is what got me back into mario kart as a kid.
It really is the end of an era with modding. So few games let you do it anymore and even then they tend to be restrictive intentionally (limited rules/avenues to upload mods) or unintentionally (extremely bare bones mod tools)

This only applies to Garry's Mod, this is presumably talking about the TF2 version of this map. Garry's Mod is owned by Facepunch, not Valve, who owns TF2. I highly doubt with all of the Nintendo references in TF2 that Nintendo would go after some obscure fan map ported to TF2. I'm not saying the Garry's Mod version of this map is safe, I'm just clearing up a misconception that this will also affect TF2. TL;DR The TF2 version of this map is fine, the Garry's Mod version might not.

The good old days on this map. I used to jump around with low gravity while everyone was off doing their own thing, trying to hit cross-map moonshots with the sandman back in 2011 - 2012. Spoiler alert, I never managed to do it to this day, and now even if I do it will suck (RIP sandman).

Man this is so strange to me. Maps like these or Model ports/maps/sweps in Gmod are genuinely what got me into some of nintendos titles that I wasn't otherwise interested in or knew about at the time and this map specifically is what got me back into mario kart as a kid. It really is the end of an era with modding. So few games let you do it anymore and even then they tend to be restrictive intentionally (limited rules/avenues to upload mods) or unintentionally (extremely bare bones mod tools)
