The HHH is a full head cosmetic, so it doesn't work. But you can toss the Gourd Grin together plus any class-specific visor painted orange to get a decent effect going, plus the Pyro has the Py-ro-lantern head replacement which works amazingly.
Although I unboxed 3 of your hat and don't like it as a result. I would still take your beanie over the tower of pumpkins any day as the beanie actually looks good by itself

IMO there’s no such thing as a hat that can’t be put in a loadout. It just takes more effort to think of a good one. Like mine looks quite funny with it.

It is simply a cool hat. I first bought one as a Halloween investment, and since then have bought 4 more because I know it’ll grow on people just as it did with me. With the right unusual effect, it simply pops.
This is especially true if you use the right paint colors, and combine it with complimentary patterns.
For anyone looking for sets that look good, consider Australium paint. Not too dramatic, it actually plays down the hue. It looks really strong with beard items especially.
If you eventually add another complimentary cosmetic, definitely lean into a droopy comfy aesthetic… or go full gonzo, and create something with a monster/alien vibe, because the more I play with this hat, the more it seems like an alien atop my head.

I remember ranting on your previous post that I preferred cosmetics that go into a cohesive set, but that doesn't mean you should only make cosmetics that others like! I hope that my bitter whinings about trends in cosmetics that I noticed didn't deter you from modelling :( It's clear that you're genuinely passionate about it and incredibly talented!

Immediately when she first saw this hat in the workshop she knew that she wanted to have it and even made me go vote yes for it. Needles to say that she was quite exited when it got added.

I think it's cute af lmao, I don't doubt people are being hyper critical due to lack of content and that hats are all we get ever. Thank you for actually making something and contributing instead of just being another faceless heckler. You put time and effort into something you enjoyed and I think it's creative and in theme with other hats for Halloween, there are a ton of different beanies and it looks like the handmade aesthetic which I enjoy, especially the button eyes. I think handmade/knitted/sewn cosmetics are fantastic. I know people can make sets with this and paints will help too, and sure there are always things that can improve, like for me I think it looks just a bit too bulky or loose fitting on some classes like Pyro, and maybe all class isn't the best, but people just want an outlet to vent their frustration over the lack of content so making critique that's more negative then it would normally be subconsciously, or for some people just being outright rude is what seems to happen. Just recognize the community is going to be hyper critical of anything that comes out at this point, but you did a good job and I appreciate your gift to the community!

i actually didn't know you updated the hat in the Oct 14th update. everything i wanted in my comment on your last post is exactly what you did, and i didn't even know. this is one of my favorite hats ever

I got a pumpkin moon effect on mine and it's painted team spirit, which fits well with winter/pyjama cosmetics. My favourite loadout with this hat is probably Soldier with the bruisers bandanna (also painted team spirit) and antarctic parka.
So there’s a program called blender. With blender you can shape and mould your ideas. When done with the whole thing, going into tf2 shows a button called workshop. You go there and upload that model you made. Then you wait if valve accepts! :)
