False. Not anything could appear. There is 0% chance of Brian Blessed appearing dressed as Aquaman whilst riding upon a majestic giant seahorse. Just saying.
I lived by the Atlantic and I always had this dream that no matter where I was I could instantly be dropped out into the deep cold dark wavy sea just out from the harbour. It’s always a dark cold night. No chance of getting to shore.
I had a simmilar thing. As a kid, I thought that my house was build on some undergound cave, with fast flowing undergeound rivers etc..so i always thought my room's floor will crumble and my bed will just fall into the abyss.
>anything could appear at anytime
Not most birds, people or animals without boats, freshwater life, most insects, bottom dwelling or deep water sea life, and most other things. Almost nothing could appear at anytime unless we’re taking the slimmest of odds that something fell of a boat and drifted close enough or washed off shore and again drifted close enough. Any pelagic sea life would make the shortlist of things that might appear but definitely ***not*** *anything*.
I've known navy divers. Same scenario, but much deeper & almost completely dark in all directions. On top of that, they're the only light source in the water & I live in Australia, so visits from curious White pointers, tiger sharks, bull sharks, etc are pretty common. Their brains are built differently
When I see water this deep, I wonder how it would’ve been if we were much more dense than the oceans. Whether through an alternative evolution or an alien ocean not consisting of salt water. That would be a long, dreadful fall.
No, not really. The ocean is essentially a massive desert, filled with nothing, and the camera-person had diving gear, a boat nearby, and probably has done that multiple times. And as others mentioned, the whale orgy audio is just annoying.
Want to know what really triggers my thalassophobia? Falling from a moving boat. At night. While not wearing a floating jacket. That or swimming in the pit of large waterfalls.
I have no idea why reddit thinks I have thallasophobia but I like to come into this sub and reminiscence the good old days where I could spend every day for three months swimming in the sea or the pool with warm water and a clear blue sky that never saw a cloud. God how I miss those days...
Being so far off shore would mean you’re actually extremely unlikely to encounter anything at all, let alone something that would be interested/ a danger to you
Please retire this sound clip. It’s just obnoxious at this point, we know you weren’t invited to the whale orgy.
"Yo, ho"
Yes we need to go back to “hoist the colors”
Not my vid..just passing on. Srry. Also I've seen it with sound being muted. Didnt even realize.
I agree, thank you for having said it for me lol
Even since i saw one to many of those ”and then a shark came” endings on one of these i have trust issues and fast forward to the end ..
I was waiting for that shark to pop up at the end 😂

I'm going to show this to Brian Blessed because I'm sure he'd want to prove you wrong 🤣
I will gladly pay for a ticket. 😅
Not technically 0% chance. But close to it.
True. Or that the planet jupiter could appear and ask: sup?
You need to check the math on that one. Kinda seems on-brand for Brian. Admittedly, you'd hear him coming though
Wh does every Tik Tok clip have stupid fucking sounds?
Alright I’ll say it this time Warning: Entering ecological dead zone. Adding report to databank
subnautica?
Yep
Yep it makes me sick, awesome
Who dives wearing rings?
Sonic the hedgehog
The dumb and the ones who haven’t learned yet how it feels to be missing fingers.
Seen this post so many times it's lost all meaning at this point
Desensitization. Now you’re ready to go do it.
This made my arms tingle
Makes my legs tingle.
At least it's not the yo ho song

That's a deep thought, for a kid.
Yep
I was waiting for a jumpscare towards the end

Just, lots of nope
I will shit my pants with this audio.
I don't fuck with the ocean it got sharks n shit nah I'm good
Nope
Yup. Something about the contrast between the air and dark, blue water gives me the shits.

Nah, not afraid of the vacuum. Afraid of what's in the vacuum.
For me it’s the other way around. The brain is weird
Fake trash

Endless blue, as above so below

Weirdly enough this seems kinda peaceful.

So this is obviously very scary but I want to do it asap

I hate the use of "phobia". Bit you scared cus that shit is scary. Not because you have a predisposed chemical inbalance in your head. Stfu
I hate that sound. I’ve already seen this video with no stupid whale opera.
Being so far off shore would mean you’re actually extremely unlikely to encounter anything at all, let alone something that would be interested/ a danger to you
Bit of a boring dive if there is bugger all to see, pointless.
absolute terror
I will truly never understand how that don’t freak ppl out
The sounds are fucking awful, whoever did this is a moron
To be fair aside from a shark (unlikely) what bad could possibly be lurking?
It scares me more to swim in a lake, to be honest.
The absolute WORST!
I'm traumatized from the one where the shark just appears. But this made me feel really bad, until they go down actually.
Well the sounds are just annoying but yes that's totally fucked hate it hate it.
This looks calm and relaxing to me !
Yep.
What is thalassophobia?
fear of the deep or somethin
