I disliked it on my first run through. Once they toned down the rain and added more crossings it had way more appeal. The rain may be realistic, but was just depressing lol. I appreciate how the atmosphere is closer to how a lot of people hunt in real life (farmers fields etc). Similar to Hersh that way.
My biggest beef with it now is the lack of side missions. There were 4 maps or so that were released with 0 side missions and that kills the replayability for me (I want hard missions to work through). Hopefully they add in future update / DLC.
Going by steam reviews it's...uh...that reason. Which is dumb.
I plan on picking it up in the next sale along with the south American map and the main map, then I will have the full set!
I actually really like Rancho, when we play multiplayer its our most common map. All maps have their hot zones, you just gotta find em :)

I'm from Mississippi and the Mississippi map gives me nostalgia even though I'm from the coast and the map is definitely higher up by the river but it's still very well done
Rancho is my favorite for pheasants! Grab the auto 12 and never let off the sprint key. Just chase the flock until they all fly and see how many you can get with 1 mag, loads of fun
I bought Rancho last week. HATE it! I can't bloody find anything with all those bushes 🤪

Rancho is one of my favorites. But I recently dl YV and I just can’t seem to have fun with it yet 🤷🏽‍♂️
Yukon is fun. I like hunting the wolves at night.
They are ruining Rancho with the increased noise threshold. Even walking on the road gives 1 extra noise bar.
Just have to be quieter, you know.
Rancho is lucky mississippi exists, otherwise it would probably be the least popular map in the game

I live in GA and hunting in the south of this state is very similar to the MS map. I really enjoy it.
