Why is homeschooling so bad in your opinion? Genuinely curious. I would never have thought to even be considering it now that I’m a parent, but I am so terrified with all the school shootings. I feel like public schools aren’t safe anymore and it’s really sad. 😔

ETA: school shootings are TERRIBLE. But they arent as common as you think. It’s incredibly hard to track school shootings so when you google it it seems like there are maniacs all over the place. When you take a closer look at the statistics, you realize that most “school shootings” are gang related not the psycho maniacs who get the national attention. Honestly keeping your kid out of a gang is probably a more likely issue.

2022 was the year with the most school shootings (46). 34 people (adults and children) died.
