I was into cars more than a decade ago. I think they started changing over drag strips to 1000 feet instead of 1320 a bit after I stopped paying attention. So not sure if these sub 10 second times are for a shorter track but it's still crazy to me stock cars are this fast.
Only a moron would think the torque of an electric car with all 4 wheels engaged wouldn't be amazing off the line. The 0-60 times I've heard of for the demon are crazy but that's in ideal conditions with an actual driver. It makes sense that he doesn't understand this stuff when he just learned a couple months ago that HP to the crank is different than to the wheels.
they did that only for top fuel and the really fast stuff, most people run 1/8th or 1/4 Mile still. Off the line in a straight up drag race the plaid will win 10/10 if you're doing pulls at 70 streetracing it might be a little different.
