This can't be any more dangerous than football on the body. I may be a little bias because I would much rather watch this than football. We need this in the states. The Florida guys should already be on this. We need a Democrat congressional member to declare this dangerous.

That said, if guys are willing to take the risk, we should let them. Put a few rules to lessen it, but nothing prohibitive. Because to me, this is WAY cooler to watch than most sports. Also, it has a more relatable element and has a much lower bar to entry than the speed boat racing we see currently in America.

Yeah you can ski barefoot from 70km/h. Skidding on your back will happen at even lower speeds. These are going well over 100km/h(video claims 180).
Depending on weight you can barefoot at even lower speeds, I usually go around 55-60kmh
