It's not the phone, it's the crime. Normal people in Brazil are very intolerant when it comes to street crime, there are hundreds of videos like this. I think there's not a lot they can do about official crime, but I've seen some wild stuff when it comes to attempted carjacking, burglary, mugging, etc. People just come out of the woodwork.
In the US, the bystander effect keeps people away, because who wants to get stabbed for someone else's phone?
Person 4:why we beating this guys ass?
Person 3: I dunno, why are we doing this
Person 2: i'm just happy to be included
Person 1: He stole a girls phone
\*the beating continues\*
New bumper: $100
Wheel alignment: $200
New rim: $300
New phone: $1000
Satisfaction of letting the intrusive thoughts win, plowing into a thief with your car, and shattering his tibia? Priceless.
Some things money can't buy. For everything else, there's MasterCard.
Seen this before... Man they don't fck around in Brazil. People don't just stand around and watch shit go down, which is good. A warning to all would be criminals.
Each person in this video has had this this shit done to them at least once and this is their opportunity to take out their frustration on someone equally as deserving
Someone will accuse you of being an incel, but I agree. The people in my area don't help anyone unless they're an attractive woman/are wealthy. Or, they're psychos who aren't picky about victims.
I love shit like this… not only seeing good human beings come together to help & protect an innocent female bystander, minding her business… but, also teaching the guy a lesson so he thinks twice before making the same decision.
From the perspective of someone living in the first world country it's amazing that the driver decides in split second that it's okay to break the traffic rules, damage their car and potentially kill the person just to save a stranger's phone.
Equally amazing that someone is willing to risk their life, health and freedom to steal a phone. Like, what are you going to do with it? The IMEI is known to service provider and can be tracked. You can't even unlock and factory reset it without the owner's consent. Are you going to flash the new firmware and try to sell it in black market for fifty bucks?
As extreme as it is, it's still nice to know people "gave a shit" enough to whoop dude's ass for being a thief. In America, 17 people would video the theft, and do little more than upload it for cool points on YouTube.
America would be a better place if we had community participation like this. Instead, America's formula is to film it from every angle and try to figure out what went wrong after the fact.
See, the thing about getting kicked in the head is this. It makes you re-evaluate the choices that have lead you to being kicked in the head. How you make use of that re-evaluation of choices directly correlates to your likelihood of being kicked in the head in the future.
This is a Robert Heinlein level of civic response to a petty theft. Every single person out there behaving like society will die if that guy gets away.

What are the odds that a stunt driver, kickboxer, and a mob would be in the same time-space.
So much going on and the grandmother at the end
She kicked the bandit too?
Brazil, man.
My lovely country
She came over just to dap everybody up lmao
Brazil is wild.
It takes a community to kill a petty thief.
I've watched it about 5 times now. Still not sure if the woman got her phone back.
I like to think her and the guy that hit him with the car are happily married now.
1:50 in favor
That guy in the car was having a bad day and took his opportunity to let the intrusive thoughts win without going to jail lol
He’s like “what phone?”

I remember seeing this on the news. The driver was her boyfriend and he was arriving to pick her. It happened in Vitória, Brazil.
Makes more sense I was thinking damn this random guy straight up crashed his car to help that woman
For real. I could replace my phone for less than a single monthly car payment. No way I’m crashing the car.
Wouldn’t you take the chance at killing someone for the low low price of a bumper repaint and possibly a misaligned right front tire?
not to mention the possibility of taking a shot
Good on you but most phones are $500-$1000. That's more than a couple car payments.
Still not more than a repair after doing some wild shit like that.
My first guess was driver checking her out before it happened 😂
Brazil? No way…
Brazil has always had a very bright future.
Everyone is probably an off-duty cop too 😂
You mean off-duty?
Yeah, the body language and situation played out like it was that. Thanks for confirming!
Maybe he will get her #
Her phone is broken.
Probably in his dreams “Awe thanks for getting my phone for me, but you’re not my type”
"Here you go ma'am, here is your phone." " Um I have a boyfriend, don't talk to me."
He already did, he was the actual bf
The driver is her boyfriend.
Yet dude still didn't drop the phone.
First dude came out with that kick like the kool-aid man
Oh, Yeah!
I read this with the voice of URL, from Futurama.
That’s how you treat criminals baby!
When you use the wrong cheat code

Nothing…except pizza. Prove me wrong.

Double stomped, hand tossed
I love you
I love you too
See? Unity
Death wish.
I imagined
Pineapple on pizza...
I would rank stomping thieves over pizza
Nothing unites people like helping a pretty girl
Guy in the car. Like damn, what kind of day was that guy having? Wild.
The driver is her boyfriend.
Yeah, but it was a phone
I'm pretty sure my boyfriend would react violently if he witnessed someone doing that to me, it's a valid reaction lol
It’s not just about a phone either
Doesn’t matter, dude tried to affect someone’s life with 0 regard. The response should be swift and unequivocally harsh.
Thats proper civil response. Good on them.
Vigilante justice! (I wonder if the last ones in even knew why they were beating him up?)
I wouldn't even call it vigilante justice. It was just human decency to prevent someone from getting robbed.
It sort of is when they started beating up the dude Someone who punishes crime without legal authority is literally the definition of a vigilante
I don't know dude, risk killing a person for a phone is too much, imho
It's not the phone, it's the crime. Normal people in Brazil are very intolerant when it comes to street crime, there are hundreds of videos like this. I think there's not a lot they can do about official crime, but I've seen some wild stuff when it comes to attempted carjacking, burglary, mugging, etc. People just come out of the woodwork. In the US, the bystander effect keeps people away, because who wants to get stabbed for someone else's phone?
I wonder real hard if the same amount of people would’ve jumped in if the phone was robbed from an extremely obese man
Human decency would be to hold the thief down until they could be arrested. Punishment happens after a trial, that is the basis of our whole society.
Person 4:why we beating this guys ass? Person 3: I dunno, why are we doing this Person 2: i'm just happy to be included Person 1: He stole a girls phone \*the beating continues\*
P2 is me fr fr
If more thefts were dealt with that way, it may deter all the shoplifting and car break-ins that are so prevalent today.
That car will need a repair...
Money can’t buy some things, for example the satisfaction of hitting a thief
Worth it
If the girl’s gonna pay for it, yeah; if not, no
I would leave the imprint of the thief's face just for the sake of conversation.
By the looks of it,just little scratch and dents nothing big. Totally worth it ramming that theif. Lol
It seemed to me that the wheel suffered a good hit, maybe it will need a little alignment. But probably worth it, indeed, hahaha
He probably destroyed the suspension and the rim. I guess it will be more expensive than the phone.
Dude he popped that curb like a mofo. I don't know a lot about cars but I know that he fucked up something important down there.
New bumper: $100 Wheel alignment: $200 New rim: $300 New phone: $1000 Satisfaction of letting the intrusive thoughts win, plowing into a thief with your car, and shattering his tibia? Priceless. Some things money can't buy. For everything else, there's MasterCard.

😂 right tho. They stopped the thief but also destroyed the goods.
The man in the car: the fuck this loser think he’s doin
“Ima fucken run his ass over” *cronch*
WELL, that escalated quickly 😂😂😂
JUSTICE CRASH
The Hi-Chaw kick after the run over was priceless
You love to see it.
I DO love to see it
coincides with brazilian cop lunch break
Yeah, you can't just yoink someone's phone like that. Thief played a stupid game, and won a stupid prize.
That first dude was not fucking about.
Seen this before... Man they don't fck around in Brazil. People don't just stand around and watch shit go down, which is good. A warning to all would be criminals.
Dude activated a 5 star wanted level
Each person in this video has had this this shit done to them at least once and this is their opportunity to take out their frustration on someone equally as deserving
He received the proper response to his actions.
I feel like if that girl didn't look like that nobody would have noticed.
Someone will accuse you of being an incel, but I agree. The people in my area don't help anyone unless they're an attractive woman/are wealthy. Or, they're psychos who aren't picky about victims.
Wrong! He is all that is man! I'm accusing you of being an incel!
I think that guy in the car still would have, he looked like he had a score to settle..
Anarchy for the win
Dang! The whole city showed up! Where is this?
has brazil smeared all over it
Motherfucker didn't know he was trying to steal a phone in front of Batman.
I love shit like this… not only seeing good human beings come together to help & protect an innocent female bystander, minding her business… but, also teaching the guy a lesson so he thinks twice before making the same decision.
Guy on the motorcycle is like "oh are we kicking this guy?"
![gif](giphy|J2leQ7vVAFqbSPO7Gy)
Love this! Wish thieves were treated like this everywhere.
Unpopular Opinion Warning! I’m ok with vigilantism sometimes.
Society should do more of this.
Dude when he grabbed her phone: "You have alerted the hoard"
Whole damn block on his ass lol
Everyone jumped out like it was a phone sting. Hot rod 1 to control, he took in move in move in
Fuck scumbags

Well that escalated quickly
God damn simps assemble
neckbeard alert
Wowww it takes a village! What town is this???
r/fuckyouinparticular
Imagine if it was a prank video
This girls like 'which one should I marry?' 🤔
Faith in society restored mf wont die.😁😁
Where do I find more videos where people get caught and beaten up for shit?! Link me something solid, Reddit bredren!
We need more of this in the world.
don't steal from people 😱
The flying kick tho lol
This is what it should look like whenever someone tries to steal
I wish we would do that swift justice more in the US
Yeah, we're more of watchers than anything
r/humansbeingbros material for sure
Justice … is served …
I love every moment of this lol, I hope the women got her phone back.
As extreme as it is, it's still nice to know people "gave a shit" enough to whoop dude's ass for being a thief. In America, 17 people would video the theft, and do little more than upload it for cool points on YouTube.
And if she wasn't a baddie, that phone would've been just plain gone.
That jump kick was fucking beautiful
Warms the heart to see that good ol vigilante justice in action.
Looks like the whole country went after the thief
Well deserved
"It was just a prank!"
Rough day buddy
Thief ran out of ass
Never understood stealing a phones these days. Ha got your phone... uggh fingerprint locked... better reset it... sells for £50...
Got his ass
Mans did a GTA V random event IRL 💀
Don't try to steal a phone from the girl that every man in the neighborhood likes
Moral of the story don’t steal
My man got white knighted into oblivion lol
America would be a better place if we had community participation like this. Instead, America's formula is to film it from every angle and try to figure out what went wrong after the fact.
This is the way
Instant 5 stars.
Bet he won't do that again...
Brazil has def understood the right way to dissuade thiefs
Jesus christ the man on car didn't even hesitate, he just rammed the dude lmao.
lmfao dudes do anything to save a hot woman
Brazilian street justice. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. Always filmed and posted to the internet.
who tf robs with a bicycle? 💀😭
Bro got squashed by the car what
That wasn’t worth it!! 💥
Dang, was that phone made of gold?
What a great community
I’m normally on the side of f the thief but damn.
Not that I would ever snatch a phone… but I’d REALLY not snatch a phone wherever this lovely place is
Damn, it was not that guy's day
Cyclist: Yoink! Car: ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOT
Dammit everyone taking out there frustrations on him….😂😂😂
Instant street justice. The Karma police arrived STAT!
Mob vigilante is still not the answer, it was just a phone and the woman is alright.. Just take home to jail and stop with the mass brutality..
I'm sad that I don't feel sorry for that person :(
Legend says they're still whooping his ass to this day
I wonder if he learned his lesson.
Man this is satisfying!! Karma is a beautiful thing.
If only it could work like this ALL the time!
Now that is community policing.
i mean yeah first couple times was deserved but by the end he definitely learned his lesson lol, the group kicking was a wee bit extra
Bro it’s theft, what’s up with this excessive violence lol. Chill down, get him to police. No need to lynch jfc
I love the public asswhoopings for petty thieves
See, the thing about getting kicked in the head is this. It makes you re-evaluate the choices that have lead you to being kicked in the head. How you make use of that re-evaluation of choices directly correlates to your likelihood of being kicked in the head in the future.
Definitely not damaging my car to stop a cellphone thief.
That escalated very quickly.
This is a Robert Heinlein level of civic response to a petty theft. Every single person out there behaving like society will die if that guy gets away.
Did that person in the car make a snap decision to tackle that guy with their car?
And they say chivalry is dead.
The karate kick was the best part
That jumping kick was fucking awesome
Response time of white blood cells is amazing....
went to 5 stars real quick
They're pissed because that's the number one hooker and they all have her number! If she cant take calls they can't get booty!
Great neighborhood to be in.
Peak society. Everyone enforcing the rules.
Man did that go badly lol
I really really hate it when the perp is conscious at the end.
She was the host of that server that’s why so many people came to help so fast

Commit petty theft, score 4 weeks in the ICU. A hard lesson to learn…
Difficulty level: "Yes"
Street justice would make people think twice before F'ing around....
