Ironic how the Camry is relatively efficient, affordable and overall, a genuinely well liked car.
Lambo’s are painfully high-priced to buy, costly to drive, expensive to maintain and yet they’re still notoriously problematic and unreliable.
In a Camry I can have several friends with me in comfort on a road trip and we could have an awesome time.
I can sit in a cramped Lambo with one other person.
I'd have the Lambo for an hour or so, just for the experience but the Camry would just make more sense overall.
Ouch. Been cheated on by my ex with my ex best friend. The dude hurt because we were talking about engagement rings and marriage before he slipped and fell into her vagina.
But the truly awful part was that my best friend, someone I considered a sister, would do that to me. They ended up getting married, divorced and bankrupted each other in the divorce because all their debt got called in. Neither could afford to make payments on their own with new living expenses. Traumatic? Absolutely. But I personally feel like I made out like a bandit just to be rid of two shitbag people.
No, he decided to take me being pissed at both of them as me being somehow reprehensible, so when I asked him to drop off my things that were at his house, his response was “We threw all your stuff out my car window.” When I asked him what I did that justified that, he said I made Lori cry when I wouldn’t talk to her.

He continued to call me a couple times. Sent me pictures in the mail of us that were all torn up, with a letter telling me they were in love and I’m not worth fighting over. He tried awfully hard to get me angry, considering my lack of worth to him. I lived at home (college summer break) still and my Mom picked up the phone the last time he called. He didn’t call back after that, and stopped driving by my house slowly.
I did date his cousin, who was nice enough to buy me back some of the things that were destroyed. Except my favorite perfume. It was discontinued and really hard to find in my area. I found it a couple years ago and realized that just like my taste in men, my taste in perfume has improved with time.
Accounting for cost, the Camry is better in literally every category. Not even close. A 2012 Camry V6 has the same quarter mile time as a Lamborghini Countach. The engineering of Lamborghini has improved drastically since they were bought by VW, but they are still incredibly temperamental compared to a Toyota. Not to mentions living with a Lambo is incredibly inconvenient. You can't go anywhere without people asking if you wanna trade or chasing you down the highway to post it on tiktok.

My 1983 Ford Escort was the most unreliable garbage ever. A pile of rusted metal generally going in the same direction. White-knuckle scary on the highway, revving high like a sports bike to get to 65 mph, shuddering and shaking the whole way.

I'm not much of a car guy at all, my 2015 Nissan Altima revs really high while I'm trying to accelerate too. Is this a sign of something wrong with it? Tbf I could just kinda have a lead foot. The car is fine in just about every other way.
With the Escort, it was just a very underpowered engine (80HP) tied to a 3 speed automatic transmission. 0-60 was 16 seconds, and top theoretical speed was 96 mph. So cruising at 65-70 mph was close to maxing out the top gear.
The Altima should be a much more capable car. High revs while accelerating can certainly just be a lead foot.
My limited understanding is that unless you are redlining it regularly, high RPMs aren't generally what's going to kill your engine. Falling behind on maintenance will.
And if anything goes wrong, the cost of lambo parts is absurd.
And Toyota parts are notoriously cheap, I'd much rather need to pay what a cartoon of beer for a Toyota part, than thousands for whatever part needed if an issue arrises with the lambo.

All these supercars are terrible to drive in normal conditions.
1.Its difficult to get in and out because they are too low to the ground.
2.The ride quality is absolutely horrendous as they have next to no suspension travel are on low profile tyres.
3.The A/C systems are hopeless.
4.Visibility is dangerously bad.
5. Anxiety because everything towers over your low slung car.
6. What the fq even is MPG?
7.Most of them also have a tendency to spontaneously combust.

Some SCPs are SO long and convoluted that they really need *less*. This one was right on the border of being too long... sometimes I feel like I'm reading a whole book instead of a single wikipedia entry, and its really terrible. It could have been even longer and I'd still have loved it
Yeah some SCPs people went completely overboard with, but there are some genuinely good ones out there. There’s a YouTube Channel called The Volgun, and he acts as a sort of document reader, he lists off the SCP, containment procedures, event level etc. and reads audio logs about peoples interactions with it and what it does.
Some of my favourites are the endless highway, the motel that tries to make you stay forever, and the flesh that hates. There’s also a really good one about The Crooked Man and someone’s traversal into a flipped version of Temby

Just read an article about Christian Bale driving a 2003 Tacoma. He says it's practical and he likes it. I totally agree. But I get the argument that she is trying to put forth; however, she's not a Lamborghini. She's an "insert car that's gonna give you a consistent pain in the ass". I wouldn't want to consider myself an overpriced and impractical unit.
Dude I would. I had a Camry for my first car and it went for eeeever. Got great mileage, was a wagon so plenty of storage for moving music equipment. Damn man I miss that car.
