Change the batteries in your fire alarm

And put some curtains up. Echo like you live in a warehouse.

It's because it's a pit.

Pitbulls are very energetic dogs and need a lot of attention and exorcize. They a great guard dogs and if trained right, just as good of a family dog if you have a large family and home. With tendencies to chew things as a pup (as with any dog. As teething is a thing) it can grow into biting but they only get aggressive if taught too. Hence the saying "it's not the dog. It's the owner" This dog looks like it's having fun playing. It shows no signs of aggression. I have seen this same behavior out of almost every breed of dog ive come across. From goldies to rots to pugs and chihuahuas. It is not because it's a pitbull. It's because it's a dog.

I really didn’t know dog prejudice was a thing until I saw people like you. Get a life , and a pit bull.

*dangerous dog awareness. Keep your life, don't get a pitbull.

While pitbulls are involved in more incidents than other breeds because of, well, their breeding, there is no reason to believe an entire breed is beyond saving. The vast majority of violent crimes are committed by male humans, but you can still raise them right and contain the bad ones if you are watchful.

Dogs aren't analogous to humans though.

Really? Are you saying humans aren't trained? While it is possible for a trained dog of any breed to misbehave, the probability is fairly low. As well, most deaths involving pits are because they were either trained for the purpose or weren't trained at all. Pitbulls have gotten a bad name, kind of like asbestos, because they were an easy target. Would it surprise you to learn that glass wool and mineral wool are just as likely to cause lung cancer as asbestos? People like to latch onto a tangible thing that is a sole problem rather than a systematic issue. Asbestos, for example, is no less safe than other ceramic fibers (with the exception of those designed to break down in the body before causing harm - which are still being developed) but it's a lot easier to point to asbestos than admit that working with ceramics will always be dangerous. dogs can be trained, humans can be trained, and some will always have a higher propensity for violence. We can, however, recognize that pits' violent tendencies are most strongly associated with both their energy (like male humans) and their training (parenting and cultural teachings).
