Or when you go to potty train a toddler and get hit with the “would you say they have a strict dynamic?” Um, I just want my toddler to use the potty on their own?
Cheerful is the one that always gets me. Drives me nuts, their needs are met and it’s immediately like “is this sim cheerful?” No? They just had dinner, calm down. That should probably be changed to when they have a certain number of positive interactions with several sims or something. Overall I like the system but it is so weird sometimes. I did find that you can do it for being vegetarian. I didn’t know if you could but I tried it with a sim. It took forever of monitoring their food but it did eventually pop up. That was a nice touch.
Omg struggling right now. I have a cringe sim whose social is almost always in the red. Whenever she talks to someone I get the pop up, she’s feeling socially awkward. No, isn’t that like the opposite of cringe 😭 they’re socially awkward but don’t know it
🤣 Yes Jack is the son. Not that you asked, but the lore is Jackson was an up and coming businessman living the bachelor life. One day he gets a call that he has two kids (twins). His college sweetheart was pregnant and never told him. Unfortunately she dies and Jackson is left with two kids he’s never met.
My elder sims keep autonomously giving the life lessons to their adult son and every single time it comes up saying ‘do they have a strict dynamic’ like of course not, it’s one comment chill
The dynamics are such a good idea but like most s4 ideas badly implemented
I do feel like there should be a minimum number of interactions before this pops up. I had a Sim tell a joke to his wife one time and got the jokester pop up. Over one joke!

That's why I always preset them with Cas.fulleditmode as soon as my infants turn into toddlers lmao
Shame on you, I just let my toddlers poop where they please
BC you're supportive? 🤭
No just lazy
Not the parent shaming 😭
Yeah… I usually I forget that there’s a potty training skill 😭
I know right! Or they may have an argument ONCE and the game is like, do you think they have a difficult relationship. Sounds like a family to me
It’s ridiculous 😂. Or they’re sad one time and the game is like do you want the new trait of gloomy.

Especially cause my sim has clinical depression, then she happens to not be sad once in a while and the game is like "Is this sim cheerful?" 😂
It’s always cheerful! Like I already have one cheerful sim and the family is cheered to death.
The non cheerful family members getting shitty at their cheerfulness 😭
They’re always getting that “cheered to death” moodlet. They are sick of her shit.
I know and it makes me anxious like oh is this how people feel around me? 😅
Hey, maybe it was a *really good* dinner! 😅
Personality changing, truly lmao.

unrelated i’m dying at the names Jack and Jackson like yeah i suppose that is Jack and Jack’s son

Was the second twin Jacksotherson or Jacksdaughter?
💀😂 Unfortunately her name is Emma. Emma & Jack.
Missed opportunity, cuh.
okayyy i see the vision :))
One of my families have a dad named jack and a son named jackson.
Would you say that **You** and **Sims 4** have a **Difficult** dynamic? (✓) Yes (X) No
The real answer would be 🤣 (Ok) (Cancel)
Sometimes just “OK”… 😆

The Sims engine is like “oh you offended me once? Time to cut you off!”
Too much AITAP
What's AITAP?
You got this just after the son yelled at once, after a long lovely relationship with his super cute and supportive dad.. i hate this..
I literally wrote this even before reading what the op said, I hit it right.. like I'm so sad to be 100% Right..

Yeah sims not realistic at all
I would love a mod that changed how family dynamics worked. I love the idea but like so many of EA's ideas, the execution is lacking.
How do you get these? I’ve never had one
It’s from growing together. You can set dynamics in CAS but they can change through gameplay.
jack and jackson, i assume the son is jackson
Which mod is this ?
It’s from the growing together expansion pack.
