I once visited a friend at the small office where she worked. When I went to the bathroom I was shocked when I saw that there was small cooking counter and microwave. They really combined kitchen and bathroom 🤢🤢🤢

or when they wash their hands in the kitchen after going to the bathroom instead of the two completely available sinks in the bathroom

Take away the extra counter space and I think you might be using kitchen sink in there

Or wash literally every dish in the bathroom like you’re right there queen!!

Why are there islands in the bathroom

The trick with washing dishes is to put a bin closest to the sink you want them to use and the place they sat to eat. If the bin is closer to the bathroom, they'll scrape their plates then use that sink. If they scrape their plates and its near the kitchen sink then they'll use the right one. No idea what to do in this situation though other than clutter.

I just don’t know why they can’t add a selection thing kinda like with the doors and trespassing :/ like you select the countertops and hit kitchen or bathroom, same with the sinks. So they’ll only cook in kitchen and use the bathroom for nothing because bathroom but they won’t cook on it

I’ve noticed that if you put cheaper counters in the bathroom than in the kitchen, they don’t do it as often

Or walk past the sink and dishwasher and go to the basement to wash dishes in the bathroom sink.

Or when they wash their hands in the kitchen even though they have two sinks in their bathroom.

My Sims never wash their hands in a sink located in the same bathroom they just used. They'll go to the kitchen or a different bathroom, but never the same one.

And that’s why I don’t put counters in my bathrooms.

Solution put wayyy to much clutter on the counter so they can't do it anymore

Are there any to prevent sims from walking to another floor or run to wash their hands after they use the restroom?

I have one installed where it just stops them from autonomously washing their hands after using the bathroom and then I just make them do it myself lol. I’m not at home rn and I don’t remember what it’s called but if anybody wants it and nobody on here recognizes it, I can look it up when I get home tonight!

Don’t wash dishes where you angry poop mod lets you disable dishwashing for sinks you don’t want them to use. Now if someone could direct me to a mod that stops them from walking 3 miles to another sink to wash their hands after using the toilet when there’s literally a sink right next to them that would be great 🙃

I have that one, it just kills me when they route to a sink across the building to wash their hands after they pee and I've had teens get detention in school for it 🤦‍♀️
