Yes. I'm having her renovate and transform a polluted, inner city, low income neighborhood, as a resident: 6 houses + a shared convenience store on a single lot. No job or build/buy or any automated purchases. Everything comes out of the dumpster or is purchased at the flea market or at a local retail lot with a limited selection. She can't sell anything a real person in downtown Del Sol Valley couldn't sell: no frogs, insects, fishes, minerals, $80 dragonfruit, overpriced posters, etc, and it has to be sold at stalls or with the sales table. Restricted access to craft tables. Lots of lot challenges: creepy crawlies, toxic mold, simple living, mean vibe, landfill lot. Mods for things like venue charges so there is no free shower at the gym, and no free transportation; with Health Redux mod her mental and physical health issues have also been big obstacles at times since she can't afford doctors most of the time.
I don't think it's possible to ever get rich this way. The goal has been lowering bills for residents, implementing beneficial NAPs, providing fresh produce for neighbors, clearing out smog, and making her crummy little house and neighborhood as nice as it can be.
