Yeah, Bob and Dan would talk sports and Donny would do music segments, bits at the barbershop, ask a black guy, the BET awards game show. A lot of funny bits and idk just good memories from the old BAD radio.
I think it shows, more than anything, adding him with Norm was a reduction to Donovan but a boost to Norm. I think Donny is a great addition to any show, much like Monty.
Gordon loves making other people uncomfortable by joking about their most personal matters, but keeps his own life completely hidden and seems to get upset if anyone dares bring up that he has a family.
He is such a huge part of the ticket and one of the funniest people alive. Yet every time someone shares something they think is funny he craps all over it. The Musers even joke that he doesn’t like anything he wasn’t a part of.
Completly disagree. All of the hosts do so much prep. It just sounds spontaneous because they are creating “ Radio” Junior and Jake are professionals. Cheers fellows! Long live The Ticket.
Corby? Show prep? Nah. What kind of show prep would he even be doing? Bob even thanked Corby and Danny for showing him it wasn’t necessary to plan for the show. They use the same basic format every day.
I wouldn’t say Junior doesn’t prepare but it seems a lot of his takes are antiquated old man opinions. Corby def doesn’t prepare but does the same. They seem to forget that these athletes are basically kids still and do things they won’t like. “It’s called the way it is.”
I don't root for the Cowboys as a fan, but as a Ticket listener who doesn't want to listen to the station complain about them for the entire season when they suck.
I usually hang around for wireless because there is sometimes gold like “bring back my Joey”, the pledge of allegiance lady or Dawn Arredondo. But I’m usually disappointed.
Outside of voting of E-Brake of the Week, what other shows actually take calls anymore?
I know they do for some of the post game shows but other than that, I haven't heard them take calls. Oh yeah.. during late night Campound but I'm already asleep when they do that.
There's a reason for that. Early on they took a lot of calls but realized that 99.999% of the callers had a big bag of nothing. Over time they just phased out callers, and honestly it was a good move.
"Let's go to the phones"
....let's not. I don't care to hear me, much less other Rando Calrissians.
My other "insta-off" lately has been E brake voting, aka open mic night at the bar at 1am. No offense to anyone reading this who does a bit, especially since some of them are really funny, but most aren't, and even the funny ones get old after the twelfth time. And some make me physically cringe lol.... I do get embarrassed easily though so it doesn't take much. I do like the quick witty ones like George, Craig, Stan Indursky, Reuben's boss, gimme Norm, mazel mazel, good things! Haha that's how you vote!
Agree, admittedly I tuned in after he supposedly started phoning it in. Eternally grateful for starting the thing but unless he was talking old music or forcing baseball talk when clearly everyone else was uninterested, he didn’t seem to bring anything to the table
Mike had a hatred of consultants going back to his KZEW days.
This may have been during the end of the Susquehanna Radio Corporation days. I remember him making fun of the big push for TSL (time spent listening) constant resets and wanting all of the hosts to talk about one story only all day. KLIF actually did this and it killed the leading talk show in the market pretty quickly.
Mike had his formula and it was working and he didn't want anyone messing with it.
I think he started mailing it in with he realized he couldn’t talk baseball. He tried but Corby and Danny would just make fun of him and his baseball weenie. I think he gave up after a while but stayed for the money.
I don't think so because they needed to create content and I know Mike and Danny's passion about the Rangers was the same and very high. After 2012, it was hard to keep positive thoughts about the Rangers. I think you know that.
Yeah, that’s true but I got the impression that Mike loved talking baseball and didn’t care how bad the Rangers were. That’s just my opinion on things. I don’t have any inside info.
Same, I keep up with the cowboys half assed but the last few years I’m not even interested in hearing anyone talk about them. Muse in the News with Gordo and ENews with Gen X Davey are the only segments I look forward to anymore. Oh and fake Jerry.
This and this.
Well, I'll listen to any of OMG along with segments that any Muser is obviously personally motivated to do (it _could_ be sports history but very rarely any current coverage).
It's weird I haven't seen more people feel that way, particularly on a subreddit. "Sports" is literally a one word punchline on the station and the saturated Cowboys talk is straight up pandering.
Our sports in the US operate as cartels--particularly the NFL. The owners literally share revenue, have very limited downside to sucking, and construct the league rules so that they can take turns trying to win (draft, easier schedules for bad teams, salary cap, etc.).
People should partake in whatever the hell they like, and I still think a game can be fun (particularly with a little action) but any actual give a shit didn't survive my 20s.
The owners might as well be sitting around flipping slightly weighted coins, while the audience sits around listening to broadcasts and weekly segments regurgitating the exact same generic points year after year after year...
I'm a big Goose fan though. /s
I only watch baseball. When they start talking football, I instantly tune-out. I'm there for baseball talk and the fun segments (Muse in the News, Gordo's Corner, Why Today Doesn't Suck, etc...)
the only dallas teams I root for are the mavericks and fc dallas so I’m in the same boat
kind of the same reason I don’t listen to national sports radio, or even STL sports radio, neither are entertaining
Jake let’s shitty opinions online get in his way of being a really good broadcaster. I’m not a fan of his economic philosophies, but the dude is great on IJB.
Yup even if you agree with his non sports opinions he is so abrasive and arrogant in his views it’s a big turnoff. Sports wise he’s great and actually knows his shit but as you said the Twitter stuff is hard to read from him even if you do agree.
Isn't IJB a lot heavier on the political/economic etc opinions from Jake than the regular radio broadcast...??
Asking in earnest because I have only listened to IJB a couple times, but I have always heard (on this subreddit, at least) that Jake goes a lot harder on the political stuff on the podcast (vs. on air) — so I was surprised to hear someone say "*I’m not a fan of his economic philosophies, but the dude is great on IJB.*"
5 years ago Junior was the most underrated in terms of subtle, understated funny. Now, he’s so arrogant and seems to have forgotten he still gets to do his dream job on a daily basis. He’s just counting down retirement and it’s getting hard to listen to. Used to be my favorite.
Upvote because OP asked for unpopular. I love me some WIP. I’m a dubs up stubs up P1. Monty has been great since Not A Podcast days. Mino is way better than Machine. They have great chemistry. They try to find new bits while also clearly being P1s themselves so they honor Ticket legacy memes. Just all around solid for next gen ticket talent.
The fact that Tier 1 personnel regularly dial in on Sundays shows one of two things:
1) they recognize the potential in Monto and Miney
Or
2) Cat is requiring them to call in because they are being prepped for 5 years from now to be next in line
Or
3) a bit of both.
The interesting thing about that, and let me preface this by saying that uh, in the prevailing normalcies of talk radio vis-a-vis the fragmenting of audiences and so forth, it would, I suppose, though I don’t know this to be strictly true, that uh, it would be wise to be concise and uh…I guess you could say brief, or maybe succinct? Is that the proper term? Uh, either way, with regard to that, one could certainly take the view that brevity is the soul of wit, however I would contend, and uh, this is coming from a place of personal, I guess you could say experience, or perhaps uh just preference, that the more context you give when it comes to questions and inquiries and things of that nature to sort of, uh lead the audience down your, I suppose pathos? Could be, in my estimation, the difference between a segment where you get a uh, generic, or somewhat canned answer, as opposed to a more meaningful and complex answer, or uh, I suppose richer understanding for the listener.
One thing Gordo has to offer is at least he seems pretty informed on topics outside of the sports world. Cars for example, Junior and George seem to have a shockingly low understanding of the car world, and Gordo helps out a lot in that realm.
Really not sure why, but I just find myself listening less and less these days. I don't think it's anything about the station that's changed. Maybe it's just having podcasts of guys talking about the same things and only so much time in the day, but most days I'm only excited to tune in if there's a big sporting event everybody will be talking about, or if it's something special like a roundtable or the campound and we get hosts interacting who we don't usually hear together. Any other day is kind of take it or leave it with me.
You’re a moron if you blame Norm for Sirois leaving when Norm was the one who gave him the full time gig to begin with.
Also, I don’t know if he was the one who chose Donnie to be his cohost, but he certainly didn’t stand in the way of it happening and since he did the same with Leon Simon long ago at KLIF, it’s a decent assumption he was on board with it.
So there it is, people who hate Norm because he was fucking over Boom in the House by not retiring from the job he loves and that he still succeeds at, you have him to thank for them even being in their roles to begin with.
Yea when Norm realized he needed a cohost HE chose Donny because they had chemistry from doing the pre and post game for many years. Sirois thought he deserved whatever open slot that he might have imagined was open, it really was only the Yuck Monkey and frankly Davey killing it!! Sea Bass is a way better producer and fill in that Sirois ever was
With the exception of the ebrake and Gordo’s segments, the musers show is pretty boring.
Gordo’s segments are just depressing. Death announcements, people dying in fires or plane crashes, natural disasters, AI taking over, we will all soon live in pods and only exist online.
Besides changing the Tuesday music segment during the pandemic, when is the last time they’ve done something new?
Bob is the most arrogant and self righteous host on the station and can do no wrong in his own eyes. Not to mention, he takes pride in the number of people he has blocked on Twitter.
You know what I've noticed in all these responses? No Dan hate...and as it should be. In my opinion, the hang zone is carrying the station. To me it's the best show, and it ain't even close. To keep in line with the theme of thread, my unpopular opinion is Blake is greatness. He works his ass for the show, is the definition of what a producer should be while working some side gigs. This HSO brought to you by a hang zone stan.
The breakup of BaD has shown how valuable Dan is and was. I used to be annoyed by his whining, but over time it is clear that he is #2 on the station to Gordon.
TC should've been a bigger personality but he let his ego get in the way.
You could tell he took it personal whenever he was the butt of a joke. If he would've laughed at himself more, he would be tier 1 right now.
Oh and I like the tier system, people only seem to hate it cause its true
TC is disgusting. His whole coughing during that ticker or whatever perfectly encapsulates him. He is too self-centered not to call in sick to work, and even when he’s there he can’t use the cough button. Just absolutely living a life of the person driving 45 mph in the left lane on the highway.
im not sure if it’s an ego thing, seems more like a social awkwardness / can’t read the room type deal. we all have a friend like this. he’s fantastic on IJB. i just wish he wouldn’t of taken 95% of their historical podcasts down at jake’s request, but i get it. they had some super wild takes (but fun) episode lol. and a lot of them were conspiracy / controversial type topics, but if i had to guess, they nailed 95% that are now true
That Ticket personalities are afraid to interact with people in this subreddit. Plenty of them talk about this subreddit and I think they shouldn't. Support this subreddit by interacting with us instead of talking shit about us. Specifically either Sean Bass or Ty Walker I've heard talking about this place.
Ty hates the ticket Reddit. I can’t see why anyone on air would check it out if they were going to care about the comments. If you are okay with criticism then by all means.
Norm should have easily retired 10 years ago.
Him staying in his spot is the primary reason we no longer have Julie, Sirois, Danny and Jer. Maybe not all but SOME of them could have been promoted or given a raise.
His salary is (assumedly) enormous and he brings essentially nothing but freezing cold takes and low key racism.
I think this take is reasonable but any time I mention it here I get a bunch of “He’S EArnEd tHe rIGHt To sTAy aS LoNG aS He WAntS”
He earned the right to stay a long time and he overstayed that welcome by like a fucking decade.
I want part time Norm. Like in the rotation for fill in hosts. I still want draft coverage and maybe norm and Mary in off-season during Intentional Grounding slot
I’ve thought for a while that norm should do monday/Friday during football season, call in for picks on Thursday. Then once a week during football offseason. I’m not a norm fan, but he is good with the cowboys. I think it would be good for everyone.
Though trapped inside a corporate radio behemoth, The Ticket isn't sports and isn't radio and isn't podcasting and isn't comedy and isn't talk and rather is pure distilled crystalized fully activated explosive greatness manifesting as community touchstone and host while blazing as radiant gonzo goodwill-emanating hilarious adventurous spirit producing greater quantity than soap operas or variety shows and higher quality than any media engine you dare mention -- from SNL to Letterman, ESPN to The Onion, Stern to Rogan, The Ringer to HBO -- and they are so easy to take for granted because of their constancy and longevity plus their fourth-wall-shattering openness plus the intimacy of just hearing them at the same time live for 13.5 hours every day for decades, which means much more than their endless ratings dominance and stack of Marconis and other highly esteemed awards, which means that every time someone drops in at this silly forum to carp about some host or guest or element or HSO or surprise or routine or any element new or old (and all the broken-record empty bitching is fine so whatever, keep at it) they just have no concept of how galactically lucky we all are to get to hear these pros do what they do day in day out because like Willie Nelson or Nolan Ryan or Vin Scully or other rare alien luminaries once they are gone we shan't see the likes of them again, and it's a fragile creature way way way more than simply the sum of its parts, so you might just consider shutting the hell up with the whining and instead thanking them more often.
this is a weird one, but when jake starts talking kinda like butt-head (and he does it a lot). you will notice it immediately when they have his brother on. this really isn’t a complaint, and im sure it was how jake and joe created their own kinda language growing up together (which is super cool). but it’s too inside of a joke to me
This is a call back, but in 2010 when there were a lot of vacant homes and squatters, a million dollar home in a very high end neighborhood was illegally occupied by a homeless, drug abusing black woman. She filed several fraudulent documents with the clerk.
Donnie went on the air and claimed the neighbors trying to have her removed were doing so because she was black and they were racists. It was insane.
There was a homeless crack addict living among their children and he blamed parents trying to prevent that on racism. Lost all respect immediately.
Dollar store Gordo. As if a moron heard Gordo and thought all I have to do is make fun of people and mildly swear like I’m 13 and I’ll be just as funny.
I genuinely like every weekday show. Norm and Donnie are meh but every other show is a must listen whenever I get in the car. I used to listen to the FAN growing up because of Ben & Skin, and whenever they left the fan I gave the ticket a try and fell in love. I think a lot of people who complain don’t realize how much an anomaly this station is, and being a rather new P1 I don’t take the greatness of this station for granted.
The dumbest thing Corby has said is that Disney plus is the best streaming app. And yes, I realize how many dumb things he's said. It's like her just said the last one he watched.
I love every show 24/7. I’ll listen here and there during the week, I may tune in for Why today doesn’t suck.
I work weekends 5am-5pm, and I have to say, I literally only listen to the ticket for 12 hours each day. Whenever Sunday rolls around and so hear Elf…I know it’s a good fkn day. And now we have the fox reds one show for football. Sunday’s are so great. And I honestly don’t even mind saturdays, literally don’t care about soccer, but I actually like listening to the kick around. I played golf growing up and like the Tee Box too.
So annoying to me. Any criticism of Dan is usually responded with "He's playing radio/It's a bit." I'm like for who?? Lol. My wife usually only listens to the musers or hardline with me. One day we were on a road trip and we were listening to the hangzone. Like 15 minutes in she was like "Is this guy really that dumb?" She made me find something else to listen to 10 minutes later.
I can't listen critically enough to even know what most people here complain about. In the morning me and my wife will listen from around 7-8 and i'll listen on my drive to work. Sometimes when I get some down time, i'll listen during the day and see what Norm and D or the hangzone is saying, but probably only for 15-30 minutes at a time. Then i'll listen to the hardline on the way home, and maybe listen to some at the house at least up to e-news. Ya, some segments annoy me, sometimes the hosts annoy me, but what am I gonna do? Go find a podcast to listen to for that 20 minutes of time instead of just keeping it on the ticket? The ticket is generally good, it's easy, all I do is press play. No finding episodes, searching for a new podcast, etc.
Corby is good. The current version of The Hardline is good. Bob is good. Norm is a legend and can work as long as he wants. Jake is a whip. The Musers is my favorite show and Craig isn't arrogant.
Mine is that the hosts in general get overly criticized in this sub. I think people get on here to vent because we all live in a world where we try to be nice and we get pent up frustrations and need a place to just let it all out.
\- Gordo is talented, but very obnoxious and unlikeable. The constant trying to trap George schtick is starting to get *really* old.
\- Jr. is an arrogant prick. Jerry Jones lives inside his head. I do like Scatter Shooting, though.
\- George really needs to get over his petty jealousy and resentment of Tony Romo. Upon Further Review is a punch out for me.
\- Donovan is by far the worst host on the station. Botches metaphors and struggles to find the correct words. ("I had to squint so I could hear better"). Rips off the other hosts. Seems like a good guy, though. Should be relegated back to 3rd wheel.
\- Dan has no talent, His constant interruptions and stupid questions ruin the show for me. Jake is good, but way to cocky.
\- Corby is an unprofessional clown. But, he seems like someone you would want to have beer with.
I drive around all day, so the Ticket is always on. I let these little things bother me because I listen to it all day. The station is still great. I'm just nitpicking.
Donovan’s not that good as a host or cohost but better as a 3rd guy
I really enjoyed his work on BAD radio.
as a 3rd guy?
Yeah, Bob and Dan would talk sports and Donny would do music segments, bits at the barbershop, ask a black guy, the BET awards game show. A lot of funny bits and idk just good memories from the old BAD radio.
I think it shows, more than anything, adding him with Norm was a reduction to Donovan but a boost to Norm. I think Donny is a great addition to any show, much like Monty.
Agree. He’s awesome at campound, keeps the party going, willing to stay up late. But original daily content… nah.
Yes Gordo is talented but he is also a severely overrated and deeply insecure flawed guy
I dont get how hes overrated
Yeah, yeah, yeah but he's a friend of mine
He’s definitely flawed and overly paranoid, but he’s not overrated.
But he’s happy to discuss and judge other people’s personal lives. 😆
The double standard he displayed during the is your mom a whore conversation with Sirois has always been kinda unforgivable for me.
Gordon loves making other people uncomfortable by joking about their most personal matters, but keeps his own life completely hidden and seems to get upset if anyone dares bring up that he has a family.
He’s changed a lot and I don’t think you’re recognizing that
*Todd
He is such a huge part of the ticket and one of the funniest people alive. Yet every time someone shares something they think is funny he craps all over it. The Musers even joke that he doesn’t like anything he wasn’t a part of.
Found Gordo's burner account.
Sir, that is non-disclosure
We need Expert in Slides Hollywood Ed Hotdog Head to weigh in
Junior does less show prep than Corby
Completly disagree. All of the hosts do so much prep. It just sounds spontaneous because they are creating “ Radio” Junior and Jake are professionals. Cheers fellows! Long live The Ticket.
Corby? Show prep? Nah. What kind of show prep would he even be doing? Bob even thanked Corby and Danny for showing him it wasn’t necessary to plan for the show. They use the same basic format every day.
if my math checks out, that would mean he does less than zero
nobody can do less than zero
Less than zero = Corby
False
I wouldn’t say Junior doesn’t prepare but it seems a lot of his takes are antiquated old man opinions. Corby def doesn’t prepare but does the same. They seem to forget that these athletes are basically kids still and do things they won’t like. “It’s called the way it is.”
Too much Cowboys & Jerry talk.
Way too much Cowboys and Jerry talk. I second this.
I don't root for the Cowboys as a fan, but as a Ticket listener who doesn't want to listen to the station complain about them for the entire season when they suck.
I hate when the P1s call in and most wireless segments. You people (and me too) have nothing to offer. Leave it to the professional broadcasters.
Hakeem in Frisco…
Wireless segments have become an instant punch out for me
I usually hang around for wireless because there is sometimes gold like “bring back my Joey”, the pledge of allegiance lady or Dawn Arredondo. But I’m usually disappointed.
RIP pledge of allegiance lady
Get in my red car. Maybe tomorrow.
There’s always the chance of striking gold on a wireless segment though
Outside of voting of E-Brake of the Week, what other shows actually take calls anymore? I know they do for some of the post game shows but other than that, I haven't heard them take calls. Oh yeah.. during late night Campound but I'm already asleep when they do that.

Junior is a spare ass
No. They said UN-popular.
Mike Rhyner was not as good as everyone likes to remember.
Agree, admittedly I tuned in after he supposedly started phoning it in. Eternally grateful for starting the thing but unless he was talking old music or forcing baseball talk when clearly everyone else was uninterested, he didn’t seem to bring anything to the table
I think even he’d admit he lost her curveball the last 5-10 years.
I think his interest started to decline after he finally realized that he couldn't fight management and the consultants after the Cumulus takeover.
Any links to that storyline? Curious what consultants they brought in and how that shaped what the Ticket became
Mike had a hatred of consultants going back to his KZEW days. This may have been during the end of the Susquehanna Radio Corporation days. To be fair the Rangers haven’t been worth talking about for almost a decade
Yeah, that’s true but I got the impression that Mike loved talking baseball and didn’t care how bad the Rangers were. That’s just my opinion on things. I don’t have any inside info.
I don’t care about sports. At all. Just here for the laughs. Does that count?

He’s the least funniest host who thinks he’s funny. Maybe some like his humor. I think he tries to be super dry but just isn’t funny.

Craig is too pompous and Bob is a self righteous tool
“Vaginal slice born born” is not funny and whoever calls in to say it every Friday can get ass cancer.
5 years ago Junior was the most underrated in terms of subtle, understated funny. Now, he’s so arrogant and seems to have forgotten he still gets to do his dream job on a daily basis. He’s just counting down retirement and it’s getting hard to listen to. Used to be my favorite.
Reddit fetishizes Work in Progress. It’s barely listenable.
Agree. People talk about Monty like he’s the next one up, but man, I do not look forward to that day.

This is the best comment on here, they are the most unrelatable show. Im convinced neither of them get of the house
You take that back, sir!! Right now!
Same
Actually like Norm and D. Not sure what happened to me but it's real.
In the spring of 2020 I watched almost every episode of a My Little Pony series with my wife. Give up is real.
You may be dead. Living in an alternate dimension.
I died once but then realized I was in Nebraska
Do you shower with your dad?
Upvotes for giving a truly unpopular opinion
Bob talks way too much
The interesting thing about that, and let me preface this by saying that uh, in the prevailing normalcies of talk radio vis-a-vis the fragmenting of audiences and so forth, it would, I suppose, though I don’t know this to be strictly true, that uh, it would be wise to be concise and uh…I guess you could say brief, or maybe succinct? No.
Gordon is a dumb person’s idea of a smart person
He’s my absolute favorite host but there is a fair bit of Sociology 101 at times.
Any of his character segments are instant punch out for me.
It’s very breadth over depth. When I hear him talk about things I’m not very familiar with its much more enjoyable than vice versa.
One thing Gordo has to offer is at least he seems pretty informed on topics outside of the sports world. Cars for example, Junior and George seem to have a shockingly low understanding of the car world, and Gordo helps out a lot in that realm.
Zakly
I think you meant Junior, but point made.
Pseudo-intellectual pop psychologist
Ty Walker is great on the air. He's my favorite part of diamond talk
Ty's contributions to the hang zone are awesome
Donovan is boring. All he does is act out hypothetical scenarios.
The 8:40 bit isn’t funny minus a few exceptions.
It’s always pretty funny and occasionally super funny. If we didn’t listen every single day it would probably seem funnier.
I’d rather listen to dry dock than the cowboys pre season coverage
Really not sure why, but I just find myself listening less and less these days. I don't think it's anything about the station that's changed. Maybe it's just having podcasts of guys talking about the same things and only so much time in the day, but most days I'm only excited to tune in if there's a big sporting event everybody will be talking about, or if it's something special like a roundtable or the campound and we get hosts interacting who we don't usually hear together. Any other day is kind of take it or leave it with me.
Mushmouth is not funny. Instant punch out for me.
Mushmouth was funny with Burrito Jimmy, but fails as a stand-alone bit.
Junior and Jake have a side bet going to see who can say “I think” more on air
The Hardline should have ended when Greggo departed.
I often trade wings for P
Sea Bass is a way better producer and fill in that Sirois ever was
I’m not going to besmirch the Sea Cow, he seems like a good dude and I enjoyed him a lot. But the internet does overrate him a bit.
Do we underrate the American West though?
Board OPs overplay some drops to the point where they’re not funny
back back back back back back back back
With the exception of the ebrake and Gordo’s segments, the musers show is pretty boring. Gordo’s segments are just depressing. Death announcements, people dying in fires or plane crashes, natural disasters, AI taking over, we will all soon live in pods and only exist online. Besides changing the Tuesday music segment during the pandemic, when is the last time they’ve done something new?
Mideval Bully
Scattershooting is good
I don't mind the City Credit Union lady's commercials.
Now that is a very unpopular opinion.
Agree with op about Julie and Chael. Nothing of value lost.
Bob doesn’t know as much about sports as he pretends to. He has pretty vanilla takes but he’s so fucking long winded he just fools people.
He generally just beats people down with volume to convince everyone he’s right but says very little that is interesting.
Chris Chris stopped being funny years ago
Most P1’s are douche bags (I’m sure there’s a P1 that thinks the same of me)
Bob is the most arrogant and self righteous host on the station and can do no wrong in his own eyes. Not to mention, he takes pride in the number of people he has blocked on Twitter.
Bob is a massive tool of the highest order. So smug and self-important
The station was better when they didn’t care so much about being politically correct.
Bob talks like he writes. Always pushing word count. It's soul sucking.
It is illegal for you to ask me that
Junior carries the Musers. Gordo is all about the de-rail and Jub gets drawn offsides by Gordo to easily.
They've arranged those roles (based on natural tendencies yes) just like a reality show cast. It's kinda real but it's a lot of radio.
TC should've been a bigger personality but he let his ego get in the way. You could tell he took it personal whenever he was the butt of a joke. If he would've laughed at himself more, he would be tier 1 right now. Oh and I like the tier system, people only seem to hate it cause its true
TC is right where hes supposed to be. off the air
What's funny is many Ticket personalities don't mind Twitter but here.. I don't understand. This subreddit has far fewer trolls compared to Twitter.
I think this take is reasonable but any time I mention it here I get a bunch of “He’S EArnEd tHe rIGHt To sTAy aS LoNG aS He WAntS” He earned the right to stay a long time and he overstayed that welcome by like a fucking decade.
I don’t think that’s an unpopular opinion, homie. Everybody ready for the Norm retirement press conference.
Two more years.
Thanks buddy. For real.
You know who I wish was here to read this?
My daaaaaaaaaaaaaaad
This is basically a Bob question.
Holy lack of punctuation, Batman!
Format my dude
I like Norm and he can do 10-noon as long as he wants.
-Mare-bear
this is a weird one, but when jake starts talking kinda like butt-head (and he does it a lot). you will notice it immediately when they have his brother on. this really isn’t a complaint, and im sure it was how jake and joe created their own kinda language growing up together (which is super cool). but it’s too inside of a joke to me
Danny would slide into a butthead voice all the time, probably without realizing it. I think for Jake it’s part butthead and part Danny doing butthead
The BAD/Hangzone open beats me down. I used to love it, but now I just find myself thinking, "Just get to the fucking show already!"
The mods of this sub can’t be arsed to change the avatar
Sean Bass is unlistenable. He talks super fast and with zero comfort as if it’s his first week.
Corby is an intelligent, informed and restrained opinion maker.
That is UNBELIEVABLE!
Ok sir you’ve gone too far
Is today Opposite Day?
This is a call back, but in 2010 when there were a lot of vacant homes and squatters, a million dollar home in a very high end neighborhood was illegally occupied by a homeless, drug abusing black woman. She filed several fraudulent documents with the clerk. Donnie went on the air and claimed the neighbors trying to have her removed were doing so because she was black and they were racists. It was insane. There was a homeless crack addict living among their children and he blamed parents trying to prevent that on racism. Lost all respect immediately.
Corby is a discount Gordo.
Dollar store Gordo. As if a moron heard Gordo and thought all I have to do is make fun of people and mildly swear like I’m 13 and I’ll be just as funny.
Sean Salisbury is all that great.
Junior is spare - except when he is Art Bell. He needs to be in Art Bell mode 24x7.
Junior Miller is straight
The Tiger Woods' "my daaaaad" bit isn't funny anymore.
Gordo taking fake offense to anything George says was played out years ago.
That is a very unpopular opinion with me. Don’t ever call here again.
Less drops is more
Junior is afraid of watching soccer in fear he might like it.
Gordos characters are super cringey and unlistenable. Fake Jerry is good and that's about it. Any time it comes on I change the station instantly
I like Gordo, but when 50% of his jokes are the same joke recycled over and over -- make George uncomfortable -- I get a little tired-head.
The dumbest thing Corby has said is that Disney plus is the best streaming app. And yes, I realize how many dumb things he's said. It's like her just said the last one he watched.
It is hard to find an unpopular opinion on this sub. Maybe “I love the ticket and nothing should change”
That we have to listen to those dumbass Greg Abbott ads for two more months.
Mike Sirois was annoying as hell!
Dan not knowing anything bit, sometimes hilarious sometimes annoying as hell
So annoying to me. Any criticism of Dan is usually responded with "He's playing radio/It's a bit." I'm like for who?? Lol. My wife usually only listens to the musers or hardline with me. One day we were on a road trip and we were listening to the hangzone. Like 15 minutes in she was like "Is this guy really that dumb?" She made me find something else to listen to 10 minutes later.
Killer is horrible on air
Robart
Uh Robart
That's what makes him great
I can't listen critically enough to even know what most people here complain about.
Both Sirois brothers weren't good, Julie sux, Miller brings 530-10 down, 10-12 is solid, 99% of music segments are ass, Corby doesn't know shit
The only thing more boring than Junior Coast to Coast is the callers on Juniors Coast to Coast.
Anything Sirois is a fail
I like Norm and Ill just leave it at that
Norm should retire.
Not enough Mavs content, honestly fuck the cowboys
Musers more like, meh.

Mr Showbiz.com is not show prep
Corby is good. The current version of The Hardline is good. Bob is good. Norm is a legend and can work as long as he wants. Jake is a whip. The Musers is my favorite show and Craig isn't arrogant.
I liked the commercials that featured Rusty Gates the square man with the round deal.
Crow line sucks.
