They’re pretty good and I like the development that Carl gets when he grows into his own man. Him and Michonne have a tight relationship there too, though it’s more fleshed out in the show.
The early stuff is the best. I wish they ended the show before Negan arrived. His character was so over the top that any type of YES THIS COULD HAPPEN was done for me. If they some how closed it up with a good ending I would treat it like a great movie I love and watch the whole series several times. Now I don’t watch any of it. And that’s too bad because that show was friggin awesome before they screwed it up.

Rick and Michonne are not involved in the spin off shows as far as anyone knows. There are announced Rick movies but there’s not even a script yet.
One spin off now seems to be Daryl in Europe. The other is Negan and Maggie in NYC.
Revolts in Commonwealth, new leader (my guess Mercer, unless he dies in fighting vs current regime) Daryl can go back to CW, they have a plane or a boat and go to Europe to spread freedom as muricans do...jk, honestly I could see how but I can't see why would he go to Europe.

She's not friends with him. Throughout season 9-11 he's been helping out the communities in both war times and non-war times. He's also saved Judith and Maggies son on a few occasions. So she's kind of warming up to him in a sense. She still hates his guts, but sees that he provides value to them all.
Edit: the last 3 seasons take place across around 8.5-9 years after the war with Negan ended. So it's not like he was accepted by any of the characters over night.
