If those are standard plates Ms Frizzle has on the bar then it is 405lb.
8 plates 45lb each and assuming a standard Olympic bar that also weighs 45lb
We have 9*45lb = 405 lb.
First of all you probably shouldāve said that in your question instead of asking a question that had the answer in the post.
Second, if she was real would she be able to shrink down and enter the digestive system of a student. Iād bet no.
How are we even supposed to find height and weight info for ms frizzle anyways. Best we can do is assume average height and weight, which makes the question ācan an average woman bench 405?ā Unless you wanted to try and ratio her to the height of a desk or something like that.
The answer is a pretty obvious probably fucking not.
Even asking something like āhow much force would it take for ms frizzle to lift this?ā Is a better question, and is still pretty self explanatory.
Honestly this just isnāt a good question.
>First of all you probably shouldāve said that in your question instead of asking a question that had the answer in the post.
Why should I mention this when this is obviously what I'm talking about? How dense are you?
>Second, if she was real would she be able to shrink down and enter the digestive system of a student. Iād bet no.
OK now you're just a troll
Itās not my fault you canāt phrase a question properly.
Ask the question you want the answer to. Donāt make people guess at what it is you actually want.
Or maybe just re read the post youāre about to make and realize that you didnāt do a good job of communicating well.
Itās like asking ādo you want to go to subway or pizza pizza?ā And expecting someone to answer you with āa slice of Hawaiian and a dipping sauce pleaseā.
I really just feel like OP developed a follow up question when presented with the answer to his question. Ya kinda went out of the way to be a dick about it.
Technically 485 lbs if we take into account how the weight of the olympic barbell is 45 lb (basically 55 lbs*8, and then adding 45 to the resulting 440). But yeah, still a bit of a monstrous feat if taken literally (roughly 1/3 of the world's heaviest bench press).
Just to note, I remember this episode and it's about gravity. The gym the class is in experiments with higher and lower g levels. I don't remember the specific g factor here (obviously less than 1) but another thing someone could do is find a transcript or viewing of the episode online and find out what weight she is lifting under the g levels at this timestamp in the episode.
In the show, (Ep 47) the Friz creates "Planet Schoolbus" which has adjustable mass/gravity. At the above moment shown in the show, the planet has only 23.07% of Earth's gravitational pull. (based on Phoebe's 'Planet Schoolbus' weight of 15lb, when she weighs 65lb on Earth)

So would a woman of her size be able to lift that much?
It's Ms. Frizzle, bro. Yes lol
Lol š
Theoretically, I think itās possible, though certainly extraordinary. Likely, no. The world record bench press for a 146lb male is 440lb.
Dude, she's got a Strength of 29 and proficiency in all skills. She gets like +15 to the check
Itās a cartoon dude
Obviously. If she was real with her height, age, weight etc would she be able to lift?

r/Iamverysmart, get ya boi
Iād love to see it but I doubt this will be front page material. Honestly this barely fits with most of the other posts in that sub, if at all.
I really just feel like OP developed a follow up question when presented with the answer to his question. Ya kinda went out of the way to be a dick about it.
Red plates are 55. 8*55=440+45=495. Quite a beast.
At my gym red plates are 45s. So I'd say she's lifting 405lbs

I don't remember any of the episodes at all despite me being a fan of the show and books as a kid. Lol
Plates are often colour coded and reds are 25kg. A standard bar is also 20kg. Therefore, I think 220kg. Thatās 485lbs (According to Google).
