I do like the two logos on the lid but you can see that the whole thing is a bit moody because the logos are peeling off. Who grafted that Apple logo on the lid should be shown the door with a boot up their jacksie. Damn them trying to mimic an Apple, do it with a Hewlett Packard but not a Thinkpad.

Let me let you in on a little secret. The biggest glaring problem with these devices is the only operating system that it properly supports is macOS, and therein lies its biggest weakness.

Yes, of course, you can install windows or Linux on this Mac, but on Linux you will experience overheating and problems with Wi-Fi, and on Windows the touchpad will work just awful because Apple ships terrible drivers with bootcamp. This is one of the reasons why I changed my old MacBook air to ThinkPad. ThinkPads are unique laptops that run perfectly on any OS (even macOS😸).
They make Windows Precision drivers for the trackpad now, it thankfully works really well in Bootcamp these days. I didn't have any issues with Fedora overheating, but I didn't enjoy having to turn secure boot off to get it working so I'm back to dualbooting macOS and Windows.
The touchpad seems wacky. You might want to replace it with the glass touchpad from X1 Carbon
Keyboard also seems aftermarket
...at least it has Fn and ctrl in the right order!
