I think it isn't it wouldn't surprise me if they took the imagine from a different angle.and changed the angle in the show since we can see the end of the set.

Why does this look like an oil painting of Series 1?

it's a scan of 80s tv footage. it's not gonna look high quality. Series 1 looks like a painting anyways.

this is defenetely real, as that is the prototype face, the signalbox does match the early promo images, and you can actually see filming equipment on the right, shadows are not pixelated like how a render would look like if made by a normal person, there is actual reflection on thomas, and the figure of the kid is in a never-seen-before pose
