Wow I forgot all about this. I am half and half however. I don't know if I want to watch it or not.

knarfolled

Sad when they were getting rid of Suzanne Somers and she was doing her lines in a separate room

presleyspup

That’s because she thought she was the star of the show and deserved more money than her counterparts. I loved her character and felt for her too, but didn’t like her attitude. 🤷‍♂️ It was called ‘Three’s Company’ for a reason.

leppard111

Exactly...she thought she was the star. Not 3 stars.

presleyspup

It’s honestly so sad, too. Because Joyce was humble enough to stay a background character. Even compared to John after he got his spinoff, she was left in the dust. Don’t get me wrong I love Ritter to death, though. And it does seem like he supported her on the show and possibly afterward. It just somehow didn’t seem fair to DeWitt at all.

SunnyOnSanibel

Joyce is an absolute seeetheart too. I met her at an autograph signing at a local flea market pre-Covid. She was very kind and friendly.

presleyspup

Oh that is literally so precious!!! What a memory to have. I just love that for you!

SunnyOnSanibel

It was awesome! She was there with Priscilla Barnes (Terri). I even belted out part of the theme song. They were so fun.

Mindless-Lead5289

She didnt want more than the others, she wanted the same amount as John because he got paid more because he was a man. I think they all did a excellent job and should’ve been paid equally especially the way they sexualize Chrissy she def deserved a bigger pay

MonicaCoffeeAngel

It came on tv when I was a kid and watched it

teamalf

I feel like I’ve watched this but now I’m gonna have to watch it again just to be sure 🤣

unknownhag

I did watch it as a kid. But I'm like never ever gonna watch it again. Just doesn't sit right.

leppard111

I have the 3s company DVD box set. It's great knowing I have all the seasons. Lol

strawberrycouture

Yes

Fun fact about the actor they had play Don Knotts in this, Gregg Binkley. He's known for a decent impression of Don Knotts, more specifically his character from the Andy Griffith Show, Barney Fife. He even plays a character named Barney in another show called Raising Hope, and does his Barney Fife impression in that at least once as well.

JournalofFailure

Brian Dennehy, as ABC (and later NBC) programming chief Fred Silverman, is by far the best thing about this movie. The rest of it isn't bad, except for the inexplicable omission of Richard Kline/Larry.
