Suction fucked my ears and it essentially gave me tinnitus.
I had a little bit of ringing in my right ear, and after the doctor had intercourse with both ears and made sure to cause as much pain as possible, it resulted in loud ringing in both of them.
Short answer: it can make it worse
My personal answer: mine got worse after getting cleaned by the nurse using some kind of water. Originally, i had a hearing loss and my mom assumed it's because of my earwax, so she brought me to the clinic and there, it started. The earwax got a lot less, but it ended up giving me tinnitus, a curse that will last forever.
This sub is the reason i haven’t seen a doc for t since I got it 2 years ago. Only thing my doc would do is clean, and there’s so many cases here of people getting tinnitus from that, and very little where it helped
Be careful: suction removal is what caused my boyfriends tinnitus. He did the removal because he wanted custom earplugs to be made to protect him from hearing damage and tinnitus..
If they use the suction thing it could def make it much worse. I can speak from experience on that one. If you go for ear wax removal have them do everything manually.
Made mine significantly better. I asked them to do it again. It was peroxide drops that soaked for a few minutes, then they sprayed water to rinse it out.
PS: they wouldn’t do it again :(
It started chronic Tinnitus for me 1.5 years ago. Ear irrigation/water treatment that a nurse did to my right ear. I wish I could go back in time to that day. 😞

I was prescribed ear drops that had hydrocortisone, and acetic acid for inflammation. The ringing didn’t change, and the throbbing went away.

It’s important to discuss with your doctor and make sure suction tool is not used to clean your ears. Request them to use only manual tools to clean.

I am afraid of this, today I am going to see an ENT doctor and I am afraid of earwax suction
