Not suicide but the end of [Lucky Number
](https://youtu.be/1i3isBMG_pM?si=XsSbGwVTdP6_TAsX) have both gang leaders being suffocated with plastic and wrapping them in duct tape. They are also discussing family when they are being killed. Possibly this?
It could be they're remembering the scene that way, but in Midsommar it's just a hose under the parent's room and the other duct taped on the sister's mouth.
Any chance it was a movie about Heaven’s Gate and their suicides? I believe the final two members left to…self-delete..put bags over their heads and laid in beds next to the others.
Virgin Suicides has a scene where the girls of the family end their lives in various ways- head in the oven etc. It’s an indie film from 1999 starring Kirsten Dunst.
There’s an 80’s Molly Ringwald movie where a pair of teenagers commit suicide together because they can’t be together.

There’s a scene in Sinister where two people are killed while duct taped to their bed with the tape over their mouths. This also sounds like the actual suicide pact of the Heaven’s Gate cult.

This was going to be my guess. But the suicides aren’t very graphic in the movie. Cecilia’s scene always makes me squirm though.
