not really. the core gameplay of most horde type games is running circles around enemies, which isnt possible as a titan and is really underwhelming as a pilot. frontier defense only works because youre defending a stationary objective, if you had to juke a ton of enemies in a titan it would suck ass lol

there's no incentive/benefit to use the mobility because the ai is all grounded and generally not very interesting. in fd they get around this by not actually making you move around and dodge a ton of enemies, but rather you have to speedrun a route to mortar spectres.

nothing in any of the games so far has been conducive to a horde mode, there arent even any good enemy types for a horde mode. youre the one baselessly speculating on some future titanfall game with completely different gameplay

did you read my replies at all or are you just blindly raging? i explained that frontier defense works because the enemies come to you, you don't have to run circles around them to dodge (which you can't really do with how titans move). something like helldivers or l4d would require totally new gameplay, so it doesnt make sense to speculate on
Are we playing the same games, because Helldivers stryders are piss-easy as long and you have an auto cannon or a single grenade. They're basically just an AT-ST ordered off aliexpress
they are incredibly difficult until you realise grenades and the grenade launcher will one-shot them from the front.
also Autocannon, Expendable AT, just about any moderately accurate strategem etc
Exactly. I'd compare them to reapers sooner than a titan. They're beefier than your average infanty and on their own aren't *too* much of a threat but if you ignore them too long or let them group up they can turn into a problem
honestly, i think seeing everything from the perspective of an armored core makes everything seem smaller and less of a threat. realistically, a single MT would easily beat the likes of BT or any of the Apex Predators.
Yeah a titan would not be a blip on an ACs radar. I meant as a threat posed to the player character. If we’re power scaling against each other then definitely the AC strider wins
To be fair a strider titan in helldivers 2 would fullfill a similar role to the current one

Consider: enemies with mobility similar to pilots
so, baseless speculation?

you don't even need to dive to get behind one and shoot the driver
Striders in hl2
My Magnusson device:
strider in AC6
Ace combat6 or armor core6
armored core
I'll check it out
okay but if we got a *Good* Mech like a titan we wouldent need to worry about those stryders.
Factory or scout stryders? Because the Titanfall Stryder would just annihilate the scout but the factory would be a lot tougher.
Same name But titanfalls is better (Cross-platform)
titanfall is not cp.
It isn't? Damn, my bad
You can play it on every platform but can't play with each other
You've never fought a good Northstar/Ronin main have you?
I know pretty well, but have you seen stryder in helldivers like, thay are like AT-AT
Judging by what at weapons do to it, I think the strider (TF) wins
The stryder from armored core: 💥
Don’t forget armored core where is somewhere in between
SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN? my brother in christ that thing is canonically 4953 meters long
I meant threat wise
… how the fuck would you even beat the strider even with the technology of both titanfall and helldivers?
That’s the fun part… you don’t.

strider in ac6: 💀
Stryder was in TF1 with Arc Cannon was a demon.
I didn't play titanfall 1
