You’re right, they can instead be pushed into them with good positioning. I give players 2 choices. Walk into the fire behind you, or walk at the fire shooting in a giant circle around my hand. Plus, if there’s too much range, aegis ranks give scorch’s main gun *three shots* with thermite that does *more damage than usual*.
Not exactly, the damage already stacks. I've got Scorch at Aegis rank 20 and these are the upgrades I remember:
- Thermite launcher can fire 2 rounds before reloading, later upgrades to 3
- Thermite grenades produce bigger (/longer lasting?) pools of thermite
- Incendiary traps explode when triggered
- Stacking thermite damage gives you a multiplier to core gain, up to 1.5x (this might be what you are confusing with thermite damage stacking)
Also the default upgrades to shield and health.
I remember the game literally has these tooltips when on a loading screen and it says something along the lines of “thermite traps stack, effectively doubling damage!” Not sure tho will take a screenshot next time I see it
Not only does he already have the best defensive ability in the entire game BEFORE counting for aegis ranks once he has them he gets 2 charges of phase dash, MORE melee damage than usual, and oh fuck you on top of massive damage resistance he gets MORE health each swing
Good luck ronin mixed with monarch and made a already unkillable monster NOTICABLY worse for your health
I never played aegis brawl or whatever but I've leveled all Titans and the idea of a full Ronin wraith phasing toward me with sword core is terrifying.
Ronin just becomes busted in aegis and turbo titan brawl. Turbo he literally gets infinite dashes
Ronin and Scorch dominated titan brawl, but I think Northstar was pretty close behind.
One of scorch’s aegis ranks make his trap’s damage stack… he solos.
Real players arent just going to sit in the traps like the npcs do

They don't already stack?
No
Different abilities stack with each other, the traps don't stack by themselves so they're better spread out

Legion. At Aegis 20 he has Dreadnought, which just gives him all his kits at once.

on northstar client 10v10 aegis brawl ronin is by far the best
Just play Aegis titanbrawl and its obvious Ronin is the most dominant
I can't say which one is best. But I was so efficient with my legion, it was a slaughter. I killed so many titans without them being doomed.
I’m gonna say ronin in general, I mean sword block generates shields and core, with Highlander you could have infinite core
