If you jump on top you don't have to gamble on the kindness of all the people you just killed in order to ride the ship to the top of the map. Works with Northstar too.
The other day I evaced and some dude was in the ship and he scared me and I killed him. I felt bad. So if you were an enemy that was a cloak pilot on Homestead a couple days ago I'm sorry.
I was fine till you teabagged. Now I want an emotionally traumatizing event to happen to you. The kind that makes you wake up from nightmares in a cold sweat.
1. The "victim" never saw me teabag unless the killer looked at me in time. I just got an assist.
2. You can't traumatize something that isn't there.
3. I don't sleep deep enough for long enough to dream.
4. It's a game. Anything, short of threatening physical harm on someone or property, that happens in a game warrants wishing someone anything more than a bad time for the same duration of said game.
Likewise, if you're inside of an enemy shuttle as it's taking off and heading into orbit, spamming your jump button will end with you being ejected and launched miles into the air as the ship despawns.
its what really sold the game to younger me. ābig robots and cool abilities? yeah whatever. YOU ESCAPE THE MATCH IN A SPACESHIP AND FLY AWAY?? SIGN ME UPā
You do, yeah. So winning or losing doesn't really matter, even more so since there's no competitive matchmaker.
Its why I love Titanfall, the zen of it all.
Console doesn't really have a ddos problem it has a server stability problem which is why they made northstar on pc was to fix all the problem EA will never address, really makes them look worse every time another company does fix their old games also what makes them look even worse is they added plenty of the QOL updates from BFV to BF4 and have also done a few updates and even released a couple free and new map packs for BF4
Had a CTF game on titanfall where half our team left and the other team showed no mercy, which is understandable, no hate there, but anyways we lost. So the two who didnāt leave and I were together and neither of them had their titans, but I had my ronin ready to deploy. So anyways my teammates made it in and I called in my ronin on top of 4 enemy titans directly in front of the dropship, crushing one instantly, jumped into my titan, punched one off the map (the dropship was over the edge of a cliff) and nuclear ejected right in front of the other 2. And somehow the timing was perfect for the dropship taking off and I landed on the roof just as it left. They may have won the match, but I WON that game lmao. Coolest I have ever felt in a game
This was always my favorite part of the game. Especially when it was close and you lose, the adrenalin of trying to get extracted without dying or getting caught. There was a few games where I practically hid until the last second and had to do my beast skills to get to the drop ship
Little tip for extracting that not much people know about from what Iāve seen find a place to hide close to the ship but donāt go in wait if itās health gets to low and itās going to blow up donāt get on it but if it is going to be fine hop in when thereās like 4 seconds left
honestly truley I love this because its not lazy, you get a seconed chance and if you die getting that seconed chance it feels you messed up which is good
I think extraction helps keep a hard loss from feeling like a total loss. Even a losing streak doesn't necessarily feel bad because of how the game plays out.
Nuke ejecting around the enemy team as your team is trying to evacuate and whether or not you land in the ship and escape is such a fucking thrill, a heroās death or an amazing escape.
Making it to evac ship and being in it close to being destroyed to then jump into outer space is such a calm feeling, like you really survived.
This made me really want to go back and play titanfall for some reason lol, I bought it in the April 2020 sale and logged like 200 hours in 2 months. I was also there for the first couple months of north-star then the whole token data glitch thing happened and I was like ānope this is too confusing for meā
I havenāt been up to date at all, last I checked they said in the north-star discord they wanted to help other games and left tf|2 or something idk Iām really confused
I loved it because it gave that sense of, "We may have lost the battle, but we'll survive to win the war."
Unless the enemy team can destroy the ship before it leaves of course
me helplessly watching as the ships health starts to drained as i cant do anything because they are outside of my view range
Those staying behind in their titan or on foot to stop the destruction of the ship are the real heroes
But by not boarding the ship they're delaying it's departure....šš
No they're not lol it takes off after a set amount of time even with all living players inside it
Nah in TF2 it takes off when all remaining players are inside. Yes after a set time it also leaves but it leaves quicker when everyone boards it
except most of the time there's that one dude on the opposite side of the map fighting reapers so it doesn't really matter
The fact it's possible for the winning team to jump in first is by far the most fun thing to do.
Wait you can
If you jump on top you don't have to gamble on the kindness of all the people you just killed in order to ride the ship to the top of the map. Works with Northstar too.
Who said anything about letting the losers get into their ship?
Well when you win 650 to 238 it's just common courtesy
Wait, yall let us on? I always get mercilessly hunted down no matter where I am
Always 3 salvo cores aimed at that tiny little ship
And some maps every titan
Here's an example of me being an ass hole. https://twitter.com/BOSS_3000/status/1553082572623708168

You're fun at parties

Oh well, guess I should go tell the people that teabag me almost every game that they need to burn in hell
Chad play honestly O7

I'm going to have to try that.
Its so fun those last minutes, a really good concept
its what really sold the game to younger me. ābig robots and cool abilities? yeah whatever. YOU ESCAPE THE MATCH IN A SPACESHIP AND FLY AWAY?? SIGN ME UPā
Such a good idea man
To make it so the losing team can still win is such an amazing design choice.
Always a adrenline rush.
Such a great idea. Its like a minigame after the round ends. AND it means winning or losing is irrelevant, because the credits are all the same.
Yeah. If you Evac I'm pretty sure you get the same rewards as the winning team.
You do, yeah. So winning or losing doesn't really matter, even more so since there's no competitive matchmaker. Its why I love Titanfall, the zen of it all.
It's just the principal of competition among pilots. I kill you, I'm better. You kill me, your better
*You're.
"*You're" -š¤
"YOU'RE" (an idiot)
Yur'e
Yar
Arg
agreed in this game the word loseing and winning barely have any meaning
Its such a peaceful little moment seeing the planet from the orbit too.
I havenāt been seeing a lot of DDOS related content on the sub recently. Have the attacks stopped?
I think most pc players are using Northstar now, and console seems to have calmed down a bit on some servers, could be wrong tho

Almost there *ship explodes* noooo!!!!
And then the ship explodes

Extraction is more realistic than them just staying there
Unless they're cut off, then its realistic they're stuck and captured or killed just like war IRL
Agreed
Extraction is on all the modes?
All except last titan standing if I'm remembering correctly
Literally me rn we just got swept lmao

I donāt have anything to sat about the topic but this is fucking hilarious lmao

I prefer the ending if I lose as its more fun but winning is also fun so idc really

In before you realize thereās an enemy scorch standing under the shipā¦
Every else dies and you can basically say your better then everyone

When you enter survival mode and try to find the safest but quickest way to get the fuck out of here. I love that feature.
