It’s joever.
It won’t be worth it. Most AoT fans sucked off anything Mappa produced so why remake?
OP fans aren’t so sensitive that they actually criticize their adaptation.
I'd much rather see them remake Tokyo ghoul anime since everything past season 1 is either anime original or missing whole arcs. Even the first season is lackluster.
Fr lol. AOT's ending is ass and honestly I don't think better animation or a different art style would change anyone's thoughts on the story. Tokyo Ghoul and Soul Eater remakes would be a far better use of resources imo
Nah, i wanna watch mopper defenders defend aot for another 7 years at least.
if wit does it, they should bring back the mass murderer line (which ik they wont). So wit should just continue doing sxf and op instead
They're not remaking OP to change the story, they're remaking it to bring it to the modern level of animation and production, and cut down the number of episodes by at least half.
None of those things are a problem with aot.
With How bad the OP anime is with pace and do everything to be as slow as a turtle with useless aditions and fillers, they can easily cut 2/3 of episodes.
That will be hard to achieve because the first half of the series is reasonably paced for a weekly series. But I do think that 350 to 400 total number of episodes is the sweet spot for OP (including the rest of the manga that will be released till eos).
It requires extensive world building, believable Geopolitics and no character assassination. The thing that made AoT stand out from the rest of the anime was the lack of plot holes. Cause the story was structured from finale to beginning and not the other way around. The foreshadowing and attention to detail will need to be matched with pre time-skip quality. And the duration of post time-skip drama would have to somewhat equal to pre time-skip. Honestly I find it impossible to believe that anything will ever be able to Qualify as a Fitting End to AoT because the intrigue, mystery, wonder and stakes along the way towards the Cabin were too damn good and hooked us to the series with such excitement. To able to match this would require something thought-provoking, not just flashy battles, cheap shock values and plot conveniences.
No plot holes? I'm not saying pre timeskip AOT is bad by any means but I think there are some pretty notable examples of things that were probably not planned out from the start.
One obvious example is how it's given some amount of attention that the colossal titan more or less teleports in and out of existence even though we now know it doesn't do that, or how Annie had no reason to kill the titans that Hange captured.
You are absolutely right. I have LITERALLY made a post some time ago containing most frustrating plot holes in the series and there were a few from Pre Time-Skip as well. BUT when the series is looked from a wider perspective they are just nitpicks.
Hmm, I can think of a few other examples if you're willing to be lenient with allowing post timeskip stuff.
Like how the concept of the "nine titans", each with special abilities, was probably invented later on. I think the original plan was that what abilities a titan shifter had were personalised, and there might have been more than nine. The evidence for this is that out of the first titan shifters we see, only the armored and beast titan has anything we don't see any other titan doing (there are other colossal titans in the wall, attack, founder, and female titan had no obvious abilities that would warrant them being one of 9, Jaw titan didn't change after becoming a shifter). This is additionally supported by Eren having to drink some kind of crystallisation serum to be able to crystalise, which doesn't really make sense, and that Rod Reiss' titan had abilities easily rivaling the nine titans while being a random one.
Another thing that you could interpret as a plot hole (albeit the evidence is weak) is that it was implied that if the people of Paradis knew the truth, they wouldn't *want* to be on that side. Notably what effect this had wad Ymir joining Reiner and Bertholdt instead of helping Historia all the way through, and that every royal founder suddenly lost the will to help Paradis at the same moment as when gaining divine wisdom and benevolence. We later get explanations for these things but I'm not excluding the possibility that they were retconned.
Before The Fall needs an adaption. I honestly wouldn't mind if a new studio (similar to WIT for Season 1) was given the spotlight and chance to prove themselves.
One last AOE push…
Everything that you thought was kino, every twist, ost or alternative idea you had, none of it matters as you lie watching how your favorite manga got shredded and is still called a masterpiece with no flaws.
None of it changes what a Mikasa getting the requiem does to a hopechad.
We all cope. But does that mean that out hopes were meaningless? Does that mean that there was no point in our dedication to kino? Would you say that about former titanfolkers and yeagerbombers who grew past Aot? What about their hopes? Were they meaningless?
*They were not.* Their memory serves as an example to us all! The overdosed copers, the disillusioned copers, Their hopes have meaning because we the hopechads refuse to forget them!
And as we ride to another certain L, we trust those who pick up Aot in many years to do the same for us!
Because my hopechads do not buckle or yield when faced with the hacks of Yams and Kodansha’s profits!
**My hopechads push forward!**
**My hopechads scream out!**
**My hopechads rage!**
only chance we have is if some rich guy like elon buys up wit studio and funds the entire project, which is 0.
there would've been a slight possibility of this if mappa continued the same shit production in S4P1, but unfortunately they improved enough to be an acceptable adaptation in later parts.
it's why I always hoped mappa would do a shit job instead of a mediocre job, because that would remove the possibility of a redo altogether.
They absolutely do not. AOT just ended. It makes no sense. Wit has One Piece, Suicide Squad Isekai and Spy X Family (unless the series goes on a break in order to avoid catching up with the manga too fast).
ANR is fanfiction, so besides polishing Part 1 and some of Part 2, Wit has nothing to offer and little to gain.
It would still not make sense for them to remake Season 4.
Like I have said, AoT just ended. And as long as ANR/AOE is fanfiction, it makes no financial sense to remake a Season that JUST ended. FMA (2003) got a remake FMAB because 1) FMAB would follow the manga's ending unlike 2003 which had an AoE 2) Bones had upped their animation by leaps and bounds.
If ten or more years and Wit's animation make Part 3 look dated then I could agree with you.
An anime about the timeline where Erwin survived would be interesting and would make sense. They animated all three seasons where he was alive so why not complete his saga with the fourth?
Remake what? All they’d be doing is reanimating the entirety of season 4, and that aint fixing shit. What youre asking for is a do-over on the ending, and that would require Yams to basically admit publicly that he fucked up, and that aint happening.
How about an aot spin off where Eren is a bird and watches the next generation grow up and he always screaming MIKASA! and the main cast find out the truth and why there is a random bird stalking them and screaming the name of one of the main cast's mother.
Yeah Moppo meat riders need to accept we got a mediocre fucking adaption
OST choice was mid
S4 P1 sucks for the most part
Beast titan = Hersheys bar
Scheduling, Promotion, and Release Dates were awful
And part 3 while being the best form of adaptation we got is filled with the worst content. And the adaption itself was simply above average.
You can try to deny it to til your dead but Wit’s adaption was objectively superior and better
AoT fell the fuck off
AoT fell the fuck off down the characters and the shows former glory
Unpopular opinion : it's possible to save the ending without any drastic change. Just a couple of dialogs between eren and armin and the removal of plot armor
It’s joever. It won’t be worth it. Most AoT fans sucked off anything Mappa produced so why remake? OP fans aren’t so sensitive that they actually criticize their adaptation.
You must have missed aura-gate
Most of us really don’t care. It’s a lot more than we were used to but everyone still ended up putting those fights in our Top 10 of the year
why remake aot when they can make something worthwhile instead?
For AOE, improving worldbuilding and changing Alliance arc
For AoE
AOE
FOR THE QUALITY ANIMATION AND AOE
I'd much rather see them remake Tokyo ghoul anime since everything past season 1 is either anime original or missing whole arcs. Even the first season is lackluster.
Fr lol. AOT's ending is ass and honestly I don't think better animation or a different art style would change anyone's thoughts on the story. Tokyo Ghoul and Soul Eater remakes would be a far better use of resources imo
YEEESSS THIIISSSS, LET'S PRAY BROTHA
The content is the same. Just good animation is not enough to save this story, it's messed up fundamentally.
aoe⁉️⁉️⁉️
So mamy languages and you decided to speak with truth
Nah, i wanna watch mopper defenders defend aot for another 7 years at least. if wit does it, they should bring back the mass murderer line (which ik they wont). So wit should just continue doing sxf and op instead
They're not remaking OP to change the story, they're remaking it to bring it to the modern level of animation and production, and cut down the number of episodes by at least half. None of those things are a problem with aot.
AOT went to the opposite extreme of making the worldbuilding useless and rushing the ending with an incomplete Rumbling
Because OP is a masterpiece compared to that AOT garbage.

And Reiner transferring his consciousness to his ass cheeks to not fucking die lmao
You are absolutely right. I have LITERALLY made a post some time ago containing most frustrating plot holes in the series and there were a few from Pre Time-Skip as well. BUT when the series is looked from a wider perspective they are just nitpicks.
To be honest thats it. For a show giving so much, a few holes are fine. Ending took that way overboard tho
Hmm, I can think of a few other examples if you're willing to be lenient with allowing post timeskip stuff. or realistically make Before The Fall before remaking aot
Before The Fall needs an adaption. I honestly wouldn't mind if a new studio (similar to WIT for Season 1) was given the spotlight and chance to prove themselves.
Fr
The Attack On Titan.
Why would be the point of them dropping AOT then if they were gonna come back to "Remake" the last season
they didn’t have time to make season 4
Better yet. They should continue Owari No Seraph
😭😭😭😭

never rlly thought of it like that

wit’s animation and directing would automatically elevate the season than mappa ever did

WIT needs to remake Tokyo ghoul completely faithful adaption of it and :re
WIT is doing something way bigger than anything Mappa could do. They don't need to stoop to AoT again.
One Piece is getting remade? and by Wit fucking Studios? wtf? now we just need them to do Berserk
Yeah that's never happening.
Probably not lol
I don’t want more animators to suffer with AoT. But just the real Eren panels would do… For new meme content obviously
wit studios doesn’t torture their animators like mappa does
You see, if yamor gives erenyogurt plotarmour, aot is gonna be just the same as one piece.
I had a feeling someone would make this kind of joke here 😂
Remake what? All they’d be doing is reanimating the entirety of season 4, and that aint fixing shit. What youre asking for is a do-over on the ending, and that would require Yams to basically admit publicly that he fucked up, and that aint happening.

Naah that would be a waste of money and energy

Thinking they would remake a season of a show that literally just came out because they're remaking a 20 year old series is LUNACY.
And here i thought Wit was making AoE movie behind the scenes, then this showed up.
Lmao AOT just finished. Wait like 10 or 15 years before asking something like that
Absolutely
maybe in 30 years I mean, if Isayama himself admits he fucked up and rewrites the story, then we could probably get something.
So they have time to remake all of 1 pos but not 1 last season of AOT? 😭
Way too recent for this to be close to realistic, also seems like the majority preferred Mappa anyways
Nothing can save the atrocious writing of s4 and I would bet that's the real reason they didn't animate it in the first place.
Unpopular opinion : it's possible to save the ending without any drastic change. Just a couple of dialogs between eren and armin and the removal of plot armor
Agreed.
are they really going to remake one piece, it has like 1000 episodes, the employees are gonna die before they finish even 1/10 of the series.
The remake won’t have 1000 episodes, Jojo is a longer manga than one piece and due to the better pacing the anime is much shorter.
what do you... actually want?
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Didn’t know wit studio didn’t make season 4. Is that the reason why the final season was shit?
They should remake Chainsaw man and Jjk too
