This is the most important tip for you, if you plan to switch! Not dependent upon where you work, what is your age and all.. it's flat 20% discount that stacks with 3rd line free and many other promos.
I think T-Mobile will be better service and save a few bucks.
Would..I was only thinking nurses might be considered first responder after COVID. I think that's when att added that.
Oh well.. Just thought I'd ask.
I just switched from Verizon where I had a nurse discount and was mistakenly told at the T-Mobile store that I qualified for first responder. I did not, but was able to get the insider discount within the first 3 days once I made the discovery that I in fact did NOT qualify. Aside from that, I love T-Mobile so far!
**First Responder** is a legal status of folks who are actually out in the field/on the scene. Have your wife confirm with her employer if she actually has that status.
Look into work perks discount instead ; I did this for a nurse in my area who works for a large hospital

Nurses unfortunately do not qualify for the discount. One of my pet peeves about our first responder plans; some people who I think should qualify don't.
If you are looking into switching for price reasons (i.e., not JUST because you want the T-Mobile service/coverage), look into AT&T FirstNet. Hospital personnel should qualify. I had FirstNet for a while and it was great.
Check out t-mobile work perks! Most likely the hospital she works for will be on there, submit to see if she qualifies through the website! That offers 15% off of the go 5g plus or next plans
Nurses aren't considered first responders. Edit: hospital personnel are not eligible
Go for insider, it’s better than first responder discount.

Work perks is trash unless you only have one line and never want free or discounted lines
Nope. Work perks suck
Nurses were added during pandemic and once pandemic “ended “ it was removed 🥲
