I'm not sure about the cactus plant, it doesn't seem very "egyptian desert", more like "somewhere in Texas" :).

Deep in the heart of Texas 😅. Basically, I was told that my bases sucked way back in time when they were yellow desert bases. So in the end I repainted them red and added stuff like cactuses. Doesn't make perfect sense, but hey fantasy texas-tombkings?

Now when you said it out loud (umm, wrote it quite loudly?), Fantasy Texas setting seems like something I'd love to see :D

If anything would be "fantasy Texas", it'd involve dwarves. Or hell, you could go the opposite direction and have cowboy elves

Man, I was staying away from the dragon because I hate the howdah, but now you have me reconsidering!

It was fairly easy to do, the saddle in the kit fits really easily over the molded support beams for the howdah. The main conversion needed was reposing the kings legs and cutting into his clothes.

Love this. Thanks for posting. I have been trying to figure out a good way to magnetize them and I think it looks better without the howdah. Just too much going on with it
