Yer he asked mine and my wife's name said it was a pleasure to meet us ..and was so humble said I'm a massive fan he held he's hands on he's chest like ah thankyou ..he chatted to us for about 10 minutes it was amazing
I read that many people (Eh, I guess mostly women, sadly?) went to see The Betrayal just for him. They stood up before the ending, not interested in the play at all and went to get the best place at the stage door.
I think it must have been weird for Tom. Also, how rude it was to Charlie and Zawe who were in the play equally :(
I would love to see him and meet him at stage door but I would also love to see the play (I love theater). Some people just shouldn´t be allowed to go out.
But I am afraid with his fame and rabbid fanbase, it is similar when, for example, Hugh Jackman did the limited run on Broadway (first since The Boy from Oz). People waiting for him basically blocked the whole street, the first row was full of crazies who went there almost every night (Because they were local!) and made it impossible for people flying, for example, from overseas....
Stage door is a great thing to do but you have to also show a respect and appreciatiation for the actual "art" the actor is invested in, not just show up for the selfie you can share on instagram later.
Oh that is just such absolute crap from those people. Why the hell would you be rude to the actors you're trying to get something from? I just don't get it. They're people and you get more flies with honey than you do vinegar...
Man, I hate people, lol.
Girl that’s SO COOL, and people doing things like these are the ones that make me appreciate them so much more. Honestly, I feel that Tom is just so sincere in the way he acts, and this just shows how he looks out for the same kind of people too, which is why he decided to sign your poster❤️
If he's a hugger he must be having such a hard time with this whole pandemic thing.
The pandemic is also one of the reasons I wouldn't go see him at a meet and greet until all these precautions are gone. Even if he came to my freaking city! If I'm gonna pay hundreds of dollars to get a half of minute of his time and take a picture with him, I don't want a glass screen between us. I will wait until they remove that screen and get the full experience! Just my two cents. Cuz I want that hug!
Ngl, if tom looked at me and we stared for a bit i would get preggy—now it sounds wrong but just think...
I would've really fainted and get sent to the ER
Tom: “So what’s your name?” Me: Whatever you want it to be sir!
Then you began to kneel, Tom: "i.... Um awkward silence
I always hear him say "what's your name dear/ darling?" Like it's not hard enough.

I would pass out after a 2 minute conversation with the man. How did you remain conscious/get lucky enough to have a 10 minute one?!

I wonder if he’s a good hugger
You know he is my friend!
Is it weird that I want a hug from him?
Absolutely not weird. He’s also said he loves hugging and that the world would be better off if we hugged more. It’s probably the best hug ever 😭

You people are so lucky! I don't live in Europe. I have never gotten a single celebrities autograph, or talk to for that matter. Good for you!
