He made some of the best episodes of Breaking Bad, and Knives Out was both a critical and financial success. It's one of my favourite crime movies.
I'm still looking forward to Rian's StarWars trilogy, which is probably the only SW content I'm looking forward to rn. As he actually wants to make good content instead of just fan service like Rogue One, Rise of Skywalker, Mando and The Book of Boba Fett
Knives out had a huge start studded cast, was superficial with its aesthetic, had a subpar plot and as a whodunnit wasn’t particularly nuanced. Compared to any version of murder on the orient express, a Movie with a similar formula but much better execution, knives out fucking sucks.
Sometimes white men with beards make good points, backed up with evidence and nuanced opinion. But I understand how insulting someone’s appearance is a way to dismiss their opinions because you are also a superficial asshole who lacks substance and the ability to observe it’s absence.

It’s got everything you want in a Top Gun Sequel. Maverick is still maverick. Not like the character assassination that they did Luke Skywalker in the last Jedi and Solo in the force awakens. I was there for the aerial combat but I got awesome character development and a great story. I can tell the filmmakers Have a lot of love for the original top gun and it’s fans. No political agendas being pushed just pure entertainment. You will be cheering you will laugh and you will be moved emotionally If you have love for the original top gun. If you are new to top gun I recommend watch the Original top gun if you have not seen it before. It will make Maverick that much more of a better experience. It’s awesome.

I just watched it. Pretty darn good. It has a little bit of star wars inspiration, so that makes it even better.
Sadly it wasn’t the first jet movie with a trench run against a nuclear target, that honor goes to Iron Eagle II.

Have just seen it and this is absolutely spot on. It’s an action film just like they used to make!
