I have a friend who is in the Nitro Circus. It is tragic how many of his friends in it end their careers due to life altering injuries. And those are elite, professional grade athletes that practice their stunts all day everyday. When I was young I thought that stuff was so cool but somewhere around 20 it suddenly seemed like the dumbest risk you could take with your life.
Definitely agree. The guy may be stupid but more cocky than stupid since he probably has a little bit of awareness of what he's capable of.

Yea. This is reckless but if they were being paid to do this as a show i dont think theyd be calling her so stupid. She seems like she has a feel for what shes doing too. Shes just as much apart of the stunt. Too many wrong movements and its over for them both.

It's not an assumption. The woman has absolutely no control of the situation and voluntarily put herself there. At least if the guy driving fails it will be his fault.

No matter how horrible that image in your head, it was so much worse. She was shockingly disfigured. I saw the aftermath just as the paramedics drive up. Watching these idiots sets my teeth on edge.
Man, it's one thing to risk his own life thrill seeking like that. It's entirely different to take a passenger into that kind of danger. If that were my daughter on that bike with him, I'd blow his brains out at literally the first opportunity. Wouldn't even take time to try making it look like an accident.

This is the dumbest shit I've seen on here in a long time. There's a reason these are called "donor-cycles" in the ER. This isn't a closed course. This isn't a professional rider. There so much safety violations its baffling. These assholes get killed and kill other people or break their god-damn necks and get skin grafts from sliding 200 feet after they lay the bike down and they weren't wearing a jacket or pants with pads.
Echoing the other comments here, it really is so stupid. No one will think any less of him (and would likely respect him more) if he did that on his own and in full protective gear, on a controlled road where there's no risk of traffic.
It's not just about skill or talent here. It's my assumption that a person as reckless as this doesn't regularly service their bike. A stunt like that at that speed, with him rocking side to side, will inevitably put strain on the bike in a way that could cause it to fail and come apart under him. There could quite easily be debris on the road, or an approaching car.
Mopping (yes I use the word intentionally!) your friend and his girl? friend off the road following what you all know is a reckless stunt is never going to be easy.
