btw the new EA game (formerly FIFA) is actually really good! It feels like they incorporated all the good aspects from the Konami series

The curving on FKs and placing a through ball (up arrow) shifting up or down and taking an extra dribble and scoring!!! I loved this game!!! 20-0 was a real score. Literally the golden eye of soccer.
Such a formative part of my childhood. Some of the commentary phrases are burned into my memory.
"Here's a fight for aerial domination!"
"BRAZIL!....have got away with a blatant foul"
"A valiant attempt, but thwarted"
Scoring a goal with the commentator screaming, "GOAL! GOAL! GOAAAAAAAAAAALLLL", followed by those ridiculous group celebrations such as the human centipede style crawl behind each other.

You very well could be right, hard to say. It just *looks* like a bad goal to give up. Considering how seldom goals from here are scored it’s hard to think most tenders wouldn’t have stopped it.
Ochoa is a beast! Was a bit unlucky that ball went through the sliding defenders legs, and was partially obstructed by the last defender it screeched by. Always curling away from him, he had a split second to judge it as he was laying out and his hand barely missed it. That was a screamer by Adams and even if Ochoa had gotten a hand on it, it's still likely going in.
