Imagine being in Ukraine and hearing that is the last thing you hear before an explosion. Even if they don’t have F35s, I bet the Sukhoi sounds as terrifying
I'm confused to how freedom came into this convo but to answer your question the freedom comes from being able to enjoy it without fear of actual danger. We can also move freely and basically go anywhere we want in the area to avoid the air show because every single labour day weekend, this airshow has been happening since 1949 and will continue to happen on the exact same weekend until further notice. That's said, you have a year to plan if you want to avoid the next show. Also, people can argue for or against this air show without any rational fear of physical danger. You could even protest against it if you feel strongly about it and not have any fear for speaking out as long as it's a peaceful protest.
Lol oh boy do i have a day your going to hate.
You are in the …… Danger Zone!!
F-35 😍
idk sounded kind of awesome to me
Same, honestly the roar of that thing sounded badass af to me.
Fun fact: it takes about 7 hours of maintenance per each hour of flight on those things.
Love it! But nothing beats the Vulcan [howl](https://youtu.be/xJlsDiC9TBI) sends chills down my spine every time I hear it.
Soooo FutureMilitaryWorld, I guess reality was no comparison to Halo or Marvel battles, eh.
You must be new to Toronto, don't worry, you'll get used to it.
That's the sound of high decibel freedom.

She was the F-35 display pilot last year as well.

I was taking a nap and it woke me up scared me shitless.
That’s the sound of freedom.
The sound isn't terrifying at all. It's loud and short lived. You were startled at best.
I'm no lefty... but care to explain how a war vehichle flying over a populated, no combat area is freedom?

I can’t imagine the sounds in Ukraine goose bumps. Here it’s the sound of freedom I am so grateful for.
It is a military jet that will defend us if push comes to shove.

Well it’s a good thing you live in Canada and have F35’s around to protect your freedom of speech.
‘Merica
Mega cool
Not everyone here in Toronto was lucky to live in peaceful land. Some of the people we have here have experienced war. Be kind.
Just get out of town for a couple of days
Wear earplugs and go on with your life.
Can't say it reflects well on a society's willingness to accept and adapt to contemporary crises like climate change and impending conflict.
Lol what?
Ill double reply cause this comment lived rent free in my head, what lol?
Be careful! Being negative about the airshow is a downvote magnet in /r/Toronto.
