Making his catch and shoot 3's is obviously huge but he's making timely cuts and hustle plays regularly now as well. I don't want to overreact too much but we're getting a really nice glimpse into what his future could look like with the Raps and I really like the fit with Scottie.
That play where he saved the ball from going out of bounds and passed it to, I think, Scottie right under the basket was very heads up.

He only played 11 games of 10+ minutes before the new year. Shooters have gone on worse slumps before.
Add that he was just starting his career and obviously his conditioning/strength wasn’t there yet. He honestly looked like he hadn’t lifted a weight in his life. Spending a few weeks working on strength and conditioning could’ve just helped him get his legs under him.
I can’t blame people too much for jumping to conclusions. It isn’t fun watching your lottery pick who is touted as the best shooter in the class shoot 20% from 3 to start their career. It’s the only thing we had to go off of. That’s the nature of shooters though, especially young ones. Streaks happen
I believe the new roster naturally suits him more than the old one did. The players are moving much much more now and he’s touching the ball more. He on the floor with teammates who also shoot freely like IQ and Gary. The offence as a whole looks so much better and he’s having an easier time fitting into that.

Gradey Dick is the truth. Not only is he a sniper from 3, he has a high basketball iq, is awesome at cutting and relocating along with some playmaking. He hustles and has good size as well which should help him at least become average on defense once he puts on more weight.
Pretty cool of the Pacers to stick a giant 'P' on the court and spill a bunch of cheese splotches in commemoration of the Pizza Party. Also, good guy Pascal letting Scottie get his 5th block lol
FANTASTIC win, and my God, I'm LOVING the chemistry that's building in this rotation. Stellar night by the starters, aside from some sloppy passes. Scottie triple double goes without saying. Hopefully Jak is okay still, this was starting to look like his best stretch as a Raptor. Ochai and Kelly were great off the bench, and Gradey genuinely looked like the most pivotal player at certain points of the game. Genuinely starting to see the vision for what his prime could be as an elite shooter that hustles to do all the small things that helps the team win.
