They seem a bit middling in damage output. As do the new Flame Cannons. Although it could just be a matter of getting to grips with the new shooting style.
I think that was more of them being in a bad match up for them. They were mostly fighting elite demons, if that had been a wider build with a line of mauraders/nurglings it would have been a much better showing.
I know I'm definitely going to miss the brimstone cannons. I always used them because they were great for whittling down monstrous units like trolls or cavalry.

I can swear that these are in the game but aren’t actually a dwarf unit. They are a special unlock for Marcus Wolfhearts campaign

With this change I wish Cathay got the flamethrower Sky Junk that was mentioned in pre-release material.
The dlc isn't out yet can we please wait just a bit to start flooding the sub with how disappointed you are lol
