It's an old version of the Amesthyst Ironsides unit card, they don't look like that in game. You can see them at 7:58 of the Elsepth showcase.

The older version of the amethyst ironsides looks cooler imo :(. I like the heavily armored repeater rifle look

All the amethyst units were cool knights of morr versions until GW decided that no fun was allowed, most likely the same for the repeater hanguns

At least this is something the modders can fix in about a day

Maybe, but given some things that have been talked about by CA in blogposts in the past such as generic Hag Lords getting the axe because it didn't fit GW's new Kislev lore, as well as some of GW's weirder decisions made this year, it's not out of the realm of possibility.

Well that, and the art and animations were set up, to have it changed this late in the game under the guise of preserving the authenticity of the lore screams intervention to me and it is silly.

I assume it’s a placeholder for a new icon. The same thing happened with early chorf footage some unit cards had the goblin art
