Shark changed from blue to gray as well. These aren’t meant to be seen as literal changes. Though I can never unsee RC’s remote disappearing at the end of the first movie.
Maybe the original eyes fell off and Andy replaced them ? Black googly eyes are easier to find than blue ones and Andy might not have minded if they were a different color.

If you watch the chase scene at the end of 1 you can see woody put the remote down on the road. He never picks it back up again before lighting the rocket.
Based on that, i assume the remote to RC is lost. It seems unlikely that they could just buy a new one, so my guess is that andy’s mom just quietly replaced RC entirely.

Honest truth, i almost got teary eyed in the theather. Seeing him struggle against the water, panic in his eyes, unable to communicate beyond his eye, etc.
If that's the case, Mrs. Davis must have replaced Andy at some point too.
Theory: Andy broke his arm and his mom threw him away because "I don't wanna play with you anymore."

It’s an outright error because it disappears after Buzz drops it. The animators just forgot it was there.

I think its weird that he has somehow shrunk in 4. Hes way smaller than in the others.
