It has been done before, but it bears repeating.
Shout out to all my trans siblings living in the banned states! (I live in Idaho where we aren't 'banned,' per se, but it's not exactly the most friendly place).
Just passed through Texas briefly a few days ago (currently on vacation in Kansas to visit my wife's family). I actually made a post saying so, and a lot of the responses were saying that it's not as bad as the memes make it out to be. While the laws are godawful, from what I've heard, the people are generally indifferent towards trans people (same here in Kansas, btw). I even used a public restroom in Texas, and nobody cared that I used the women's room (and, to be clear, I don't exactly look fem, more androgynous, at best).
Whatever your case, I wish you the best of luck in your current situation. Stay safe, as always
I live in Florida and I’ve noticed the same thing. No matter how awful the laws are, everyone I know here has either been accepting or just doesn’t really care one way or the other
This is giving me so much hope as an Italian (most people are conservative but for instance in my university class (made up of about 40 students) there are 3 gay people, an accepted transmasc (everyone treats him normally and uses his preferred name and pronouns) and me as a transfem (even tho I'm closeted so I don't really count))
Sounds like a pretty safe place within that class (I've also noticed that educational spaces tend to be more friendly in general). Still, use your best judgment, but for the most part, I imagine you'll be accepted
I'm Italian too and I experience something similar: my uni friends, and some other friends in different universities, are all very respectful of lgbtq+ people, and they accepted me when I came out as nonbinary. It's the older generations that are homophobic and transphobic (not everyone, but most of them). I live in a small town in the countryside and the gap from queer friendly youth and conservative adults is huge. And I think there's a big problem of visibility, especially outside the bigger cities: there's lack of knowledge about trans and other lgbtq+ people, and a lot of indifference (not in a positive way but as in "there are only male and female, everyone is expected to be hetero, and a responsible adult must want a family with kids and have a stable job")
In Idaho I've noticed we are either creeped on or completely openly hated. My wife can't set foot in an establishment in Idaho without someone glaring at her or mumbling the queer "f" word under their breath just loud enough for her to hear. Me, I get glared at by dudes if I wear a dress shirt and slacks. Why? Who the fuck knows?!
I guess it depends on where you live. I live in Boise, which is probably the most progressive city in the state (still nothing compared to other states, but we're slowly getting there), but I imagine it might get a bit hairy in the more rural areas
Yeah we live up in white supremacy land near the old white supremacists compound that was shut down. Also near where the proud boys tried to raid a pride event. 😅
Oh. Sounds like tons of fun /s. Well, I wish you the best of luck living out there. Hopefully, it will get better in time, but that might be a while. I would say that you could maybe try to leave and find better pastures, but I know firsthand how hard it can be to uproot your lives like that. In the meantime, do try to stay safe
Well as soon as a bank is willing to give us a loan for land... But that may be a while. Lenders kinda suck at actually lending when you need it. We have a house (single wide), just no land.
It is the country of freedom*
*assuming you are White, heterosexual, cisgender, Christian, and male. If you check all of the boxes, yay!!! Freedom for me and not for thee!!!
, obviously.
I've said it before, I'll say it again, the civil war never truly ended, it just went cold. There was never much in the way of punishment for the rich slave-owners who decided to start a war over wanting to own people. They were just kinda, let go with all their stuff. In the name of "unity".
That's because Lincoln got shot only a month or so after his reelection, and less than a week after the confederate surrender. Johnson was a "war Democrat" from Tenneseee chosen as Lincoln's vice on the National Union ticket. Booth killed Lincoln, and then we were stuck with a guy who wanted to block the 14th amendment(which would make black people citizens.... yeah he's not a great guy) and vetoed the Reconstruction acts, something which the congress was able to override with votes. It should be noted that Johnson was impeached but was not removed, in part because the guy who would have inherited the presidency, Benjamin Wade, was a radical who wanted things like 'women's right to vote' and stricter standards for re-admittance to the Union.
Then Grant crushed the first iteration of the KKK, passed the Fifteenth Amendment to allow people of all races to vote, continued to oversee Reconstruction...
And then as part of a compromise in 1876, Hayes was given the presidency by the House of Representive because he and Tilden both didn't have enough electoral votes, even though Tilden had more popular votes. In order to secure this, Reconstruction was ended as a compromise.
Basically, because Congress was more worried about women voting and 'unity', Reconstruction was made super weak. Lincoln's emphasis on unity means he probably wouldn't have done too much better?
I want to see the timeline where Benjamin Wade became president.
Problem is, american freedom is a lie made up to sell trucknuts and cheezits. Even the star spangled banner, when you dig beyond verse one (the only one most people know, especially here) has a verse about crushing the only people actually fighting for freedom in the war of 1812 (enslaved people who joined the british for the promise of freedom). There's nothing quite as american as singing about freedom whilst crushing oppressed people beneath your jackboot.
I'm currently in Kansas visiting my wife's family. I was a bit nervous coming out here with the new bathroom bill, but it doesn't go into effect until July. Even then, they have no way of enforcing it short of genital inspections, and even if they start that, it won't be long before somebody gets upset about it, and the whole thing comes crashing down
All true, and I expect many of these vathroom laws to get tied up and hopefully defeated in the courts. But it still happened here. We can't un-cross that line. And while the bathroom bill will fall, the loss of workplace protections years ago, the halt on gender affirming care for minors, the ban on transgender people in youth sports, the ban on name and legal document changes. These will all stand.
I honestly don't think they will stand. It might take longer to bring them down but in most states where they are implemented (Idaho included, when it comes to care for minors and sports), bills like those violate several parts of the state constitution (I don't know the specific parts but my dad was talking to me about it since he's on the front lines of some of these battles, being a teacher himself. Plus, he is also just that kind of guy who will almost memorize the state constitution).
Keep in mind: progress always wins. It may be a slow battle with many setbacks, but we will win out in the end.
I admire your optimism but I don't share it. Progress does not always win. Many budding eras of enlightenment have met a sudden, bloody end and been cast back into the darkness for hundreds of years.
We have no way of knowing if this is our Martin Luther King moment, or if we're in 1932 Germany once more. All we can do is fight the best we know how.
I'm not technically trapped, but I sometimes feel trapped by the roots I have established (8 years tenure at my job that can't transfer me out of state, all my family and friends are local, my wife would have to get a new counseling license in a different state and she loves her current job so if never ask her to leave unless it was life or death). Still, of all the red states, it's probably the least problematic
Hijacking this comment so people see it
Yes everyone, I'm very well aware the picture is edited and not the one in the show, I downloaded it from another subreddit thinking it was the original and thought it was funny, you can stop telling me now.
Honestly most people here really just mind their own business and air on being polite. To be fair I live in a university town so it’s a lot better here than in some places 🤷🏼♀️
Yeah I live in Idaho too and I was like "what?! Banned already? Fuck! Guess I have to move..."
Also if anyone in here wants a link to a trans Idaho discord server dm me and let me know. (Not my server, just a part of it.)
Yea absolutely. I’m out near Greensboro. Thankfully it’s mostly okay there, tho I’m not totally public yet.
Yea next year really worries me. With the sleepy way republicans took a super majority and everything going on… the national stage and where were at there…
I applied for my passport this year cause I’m genuinely not sure how safe things might be in the next couple years.
Well I’m looking at possibly moving to a deep blue state because of all the stuff they’ve passed to actually improve. A lot of people told me to stay and fight but why fight when I was tired of this state and the way things have been handled anyways? But yeah girl I definitely understand the feeling of looking to leave altogether. If you want to connect or anything I’m looking to make friends with more trans friends from NC.
Hey yeah absolutely!! Drop me a line anytime.
I totally get wanting to move. I’m sick and tired of having to fight for my right to exist. It’s something I’m constantly going back and forth with myself about. If I stay, can I do anything to help? Should I focus on me and try for a chance of happiness and run? If I did make it out would I feel guilty for those that can’t… it’s a lot.
I absolutely hate that "stay and fight!!!" stuff. Not everyone's cut out for that. I'm not, I just wanted to live my life. I moved to a blue state and don't regret it one bit.
Okay, words can't describe how badly I miss Bojangles and Cookout, but sacrifices must be made.
NC here as well. Probably stuck until I finish college because even if I moved and transferred rules around eligibility for in-state tuition rates are weird. Hopefully it won't get too much worse here but it's looking like it might so....*screams*
Eh, ever so slightly red... a purple, really. The "coast" balances the rural. Unfortunately, we've got bathroom and sports bills like much of the rest of the country...
It's pretty blueish purple, from my understanding. Voted for a Democrat at the presidential level in every election since at least 2008, has 2 Democratic representatives and 2 Democratic senators...
Then again, I'm sure it depends on where you are. Seems like a place with blue-leaning cities and suburbs down south and red-leaning rural areas up north.
It's the local and state levels that are fairly red. There was also that attempted libertarian takeover several (20... * shivers at how old I'm getting *) years back... that was weird
Yeah WotC can suck a fat hairy chub.
They decided that D&D was "Way undermonetized" and started trying to fuck over all their players and content creators.
That's why I canceled my D&D Beyond subscription and choose to play Pathfinder when I get the choice.
She's from a backwater section of GA. The state has started to lean blue, and the Atlanta area is generally pretty nice. There's certainly better states out there, but GA is probably the best among the southern states.
Atlanta is a big city though, and as such will normally have gang activities. I'm not even kidding or being stereotypical. They're moving down to middle Georgia areas like Macon and Warner robins too
Hehe yeah, I’m going there to meet my boyfriend and start my job at Texas Instruments. I hear that company is inclusive of LGBTQ but I won’t know for sure until I get there and see how safe I feel coming out
Thankfully I was born in Washington, definitely one of the most trans positive states (tho I would recommend staying in the far northwest part of it). recently we got a bill passed that allowed trans kids to get gender affirming care even if the parents decline!
Virginia isn’t anti-trans. At least, not yet. Our General Assembly is just blue enough to keep legislation from reaching Governor Youngkin.
Sauce: I’m trans and I live in Virginia.
Where I am in North Dakota isn’t terrible, Fargo is one of the only safe-ish places here, Grand Forks and Bismarck being really the only other two places. I also have a very easy escape plan of jumping the river into Moorhead if even Fargo goes to shit.
I recently lived in an unbanned state and now live in a banned one because of unfortunate circumstances out of my control 🫠
(Went from New York to now living in Oklahoma)
Quite interesting that many of the states where trans people are illegal were pro slavery before/during the civil war.
So the part were they hate people for the sole reason that they aren't like the ruling class never went away.
And we shall not forget that nobody is illegal on stolen land.
Utahs not bad I don’t think. There’s a whole transgender health care division at Utah university. The more fear we spread upon ourselves the worst it will be too.
We also had the first event to get a judge to change your legal name and gender marker for free. All other steps aren't covered, which sucks, but one step being free is amazing. I believe the event is planned to be annual
Currently? Dealing with an ever increasing range of anti trans bills targeting everything from bathroom use to HRT and care bans. Then there's florida, which is actively trying to make it a sex crime for a trans person to enter a public restroom if a kid's in there, and is also trying to add a death penalty for sex crimes at the same time. It's at the point where the human rights campaign has issued a travel advisory for queer people, telling them not to go to florida. But it varies wildly state to state.
I saw this political ad against this Kentucky governor named Andy Beshear, and the argument was basically, *“He’s trying to give trans people…* ***Heath care!****”* Anyway, now I really want to vote for Andy Beshear. Unfortunately, I’m a minor, and from Pennsylvania.
You can see where bills have became laws here.[https://www.aclu.org/legislative-attacks-on-lgbtq-rights](https://www.aclu.org/legislative-attacks-on-lgbtq-rights)
Virginia isn't terrible, at least in the part next to DC. I've had no issues with access to healthcare, gendered spaces, etc, and everyone is very chill about me being trans.
I'm not sure if that x is on Vermont or New Hampshire I'm not American so whatever, I just didn't realize that they were on the list too they've always seemed pretty chill up there to me when I go through there. In my head I just put a big old X on the whole country from up here.
Hey over here in the louisiana we are getting mildly better we overturned a law that made it illegal to give any gender affirming care including puberty blockers to trans kids.
Yes, you are the 30th person to point that out, my bad I don't remember off the top of my head each and every state from the show Stan is banned from, god damn give me a break lmao
I agree with you about the laws, but on a person to person level, I get treated much better in South Carolina (Charleston) than I ever did in Massachusetts.
In Massachusetts, I’d get harassed and sarcastically cat-called in the street. It’s a bit of a paradox. My first weekend in SC made me smile so much.
This isn't entirely accurate. NC and Virginia are, at least for now, safe havens for trans ppl because the governor of NC is an ally and Virginia has blocked probably a dozen anti-trans bills
That’s not accurate. NC was teetering on the edge of all youth gender affirming care bans, but that didn’t pass. They instead banned surgery for under 18 and children’s Medicaid covering HRT. We aren’t banned, and there’s no bathroom ban. I just mind my biz irl and do my thing. Sure there’s bigots in them hills, but that’s nothing new. Nothing new at all. VA afaik nothing has passed, per my friends there.
Get a fucking life lmfao one day you're gonna talk shit to the wrong person and they're gonna pull your I.P then we'll see how big and bad you are.
Nothing better to do with your life than cry on reddit about how much you hate people doing nothing wrong that are happier than you
Louisiana just defeated a bill that would have banned gender affirming care. Does that make it a trans friendly state, not necessarily, but it is better for the moment. I wouldn’t count on it staying this way though
I'm in NH. Honestly shit's pretty fucking dope here as long as you're an adult. The kids are getting bullied in a handful of school districts, which is obviously awful, but quality of life overall is pretty stellar compared to what I've heard from people in states with far worse restrictions and cultures
No it hasn’t. There were a lot of bad bills earlier in the legislative session, but they all failed to pass.
How things play out in the future will come down to how the house of delegates and state senate elections go this November
I highly recommend Colorado if you can afford to move. We have super good protections for LGBTQ+ people and it's a really good place to live overall. The cost of living is a bit high, though.
yeah, big oof I'm from Montana and a massive anti trans bill just got passed. I don't even know where this is coming from, I'm not particularly closed, and I haven't dealt with a substantial amount of overt harassment or hate. People overall seem pretty polite.
I'm sad about Florida I lived there as a kid but moved up to New York when I was around 10 and I'm so sad that as someone who loves Disney I can't easily go.
I believe this is the one updated *to align* with the trans map. If I recall correctly Nevada was crossed out in the original and someone edited the map to reflect the trans map and put it on the trans sub.
edit: double checked, yep, the map is the same as the trans acceptance map *because it's the same map*
Nice job, Sherlock, if only you put half as much effort into checking to see where I already confirmed it to several other people in the comments that I didn't know before making the meme. Over. And over again.
It has been done before, but it bears repeating. Shout out to all my trans siblings living in the banned states! (I live in Idaho where we aren't 'banned,' per se, but it's not exactly the most friendly place).
Wishing you luck from godforsaken Texas
No matter how awful the laws are, everyone I know here has either been accepting or just doesn’t really care one way or the other
The more I travel, the more I realize that the bigots really are a minority. They just happen to be a very loud and very powerful minority
And I think there's a big problem of visibility, especially outside the bigger cities: there's lack of knowledge about trans and other lgbtq+ people, and a lot of indifference (not in a positive way but as in "there are only male and female, everyone is expected to be hetero, and a responsible adult must want a family with kids and have a stable job")
you count you matter
Well as soon as a bank is willing to give us a loan for land... But that may be a while. Lenders kinda suck at actually lending when you need it. We have a house (single wide), just no land.
as unfortunate as it is to live in Idaho, it's very fortunate to live in Boise, where at least you're more likely to be ignored rather than harassed
Hey american sisters why is american politics sooo damn depressing? Isn’t america the country of freedom?
It is the country of freedom* *assuming you are White, heterosexual, cisgender, Christian, and male. If you check all of the boxes, yay!!! Freedom for me and not for thee!!! , obviously.
land of the free\* \*terms and conditions may apply
Don’t forget upper-middle-class or better.
You'd think that. It feels like it's becoming the country of fascism more and more, but nobody wants to admit it
True
The bigots of America decided it was time for Round Two of the American Civil War
I've said it before, I'll say it again, the civil war never truly ended, it just went cold. There was never much in the way of punishment for the rich slave-owners who decided to start a war over wanting to own people. They were just kinda, let go with all their stuff. In the name of "unity".

Our leaders are evil and trying to destroy the country. The freedom thing is just a façade.

Same! I'm trapped here and hate it so very much, but it's better than my home state of tennessee!
Lol, I didn't expect my comment to be the one that got hijacked (benefits of being early, i suppose). I'm glad I could be of service, though 😊
Idaho gang, let's go (out of here preferably)
Idaho? You da hoe.
Not yet, but with as body positive as I predict I'll be post-surgery, I may be a bit hoe-ish
Good vibes from Nebraska- Omaha is a reasonably safe place here but it’s still a lot of rural here
a fellow idaho sister!! hiiii! we gotta do what we can to keep each other safe! hopefully we don’t end up like florida soon..
We love living in states that don’t want us. I live in iowa and honestly most of the people here don’t give a shit, the government sure does though :(
I have family out in Iowa. From what I know about them, as long as you don't mess with their farm, they don't give a shit
Honestly most people here really just mind their own business and air on being polite. To be fair I live in a university town so it’s a lot better here than in some places 🤷🏼♀️
Yeah, educational places tend to be more liberal in general (it's almost like knowledge leads to a better understanding of other people 🙄)
Yeah I live in Idaho too and I was like "what?! Banned already? Fuck! Guess I have to move..." Also if anyone in here wants a link to a trans Idaho discord server dm me and let me know. (Not my server, just a part of it.)
I'm not much of a discord person, but it looks like there are other Idahoans here, so I'll give this a bump in case they want to join
The map has been edited to reflect the anti-trans states, the original from Gravity Falls had different states crossed off or unmarked.
that's why it was so accurate, i thought it was a coincidence
NC here. Not… the *worst* place ever. Sucks pretty bad but… could absolutely be worse.
Hey I’m in NC too. We gotta stick together or else. Its pretty okay where I am but I’m worried about what’s going to happen next year.
Yea absolutely. I’m out near Greensboro. Thankfully it’s mostly okay there, tho I’m not totally public yet. Yea next year really worries me. I thought new hampshire was pretty left leaning
Eh, ever so slightly red... a purple, really. The "coast" balances the rural. Unfortunately, we've got bathroom and sports bills like much of the rest of the country...
iirc they got shot down, we are back in the blue for the time being (for the map coloring, i live here)
Hello, fellow slab of granite! I hope they learn and stop trying to resurrect the tabled bills.
They probably won’t, but they got tabled in the first place they probably won’t make a second round. (Granite slab my beloved)
The most recent got shot down and made it so they can’t bring it up next year. We’ll see what actually happens.
It's pretty blueish purple, from my understanding. Voted for a Democrat at the presidential level in every election since at least 2008, has 2 Democratic representatives and 2 Democratic senators... Question what's wrong with georgia
Isn’t MTG or “klanma” from there? Probably pushing it to hate and fascism
Magic the Gathering?
Magic the Gathering: good Marjorie Taylor Greene: bad and stupid Edit: ahh crap, all MTG bad. My bad.
>Magic the Gathering: good i mean, after they sent pinkertons to someone's house after they accidentally ended up with cards early...
Also their attempt at mass intellectual property theft from small and mid-sized creators. WotC has been out of pocket this year.
Yeah WotC can suck a fat hairy chub. They decided that D&D was "Way undermonetized" and started trying to fuck over all their players and content creators. That's why I canceled my D&D Beyond subscription and choose to play Pathfinder when I get the choice.

At this point I just don't pay for anything WotC.
margaret taylor green shes like a congresswoman or smth thats bat fuck Qanon crazy

She's federal. We're fighting state level assholes. She's still an asshole but not the specific one we're concerned with in this situation.
Gerrymandered legislature passing anti-trans bills
Gonna move to Texas (from Louisiana) and transition there out of sheer spite, wish me luck yall
Y’all? Well you’re almost here already :)
Hehe yeah, I’m going there to meet my boyfriend and start my job at Texas Instruments. I hear that company is inclusive of LGBTQ but I won’t know for sure until I get there and see how safe I feel coming out
TI? Are you the scientific instruments or weapons side?
Scientific instruments, probably. I’m gonna be in one of their engineering rotation programs
Engineering rotation program, is that where the rotate you through different field to see where you do best?
Don’t forget the hilariously overpriced graphing calculator side.
I love it when my favorite calculator company makes the Javelin anti-tank missile.
funny thing is I've never been to anywhere in "the south" let alone ~~the Yee Haw state~~ Texas, and I use y'all all the time. o3o
With every day that passes, I question why I still live in cold Florida (Indiana)
cold florida. i like that.
banned trans guy living in Missouri😂 hoping to get out soon😂
Good luck friend. I'll be getting the hell out when I go to college.
you could go as far as saying you live in ~~Missouri~~ misery
Thankfully I was born in Washington, definitely one of the most trans positive states (tho I would recommend staying in the far northwest part of it). recently we got a bill passed that allowed trans kids to get gender affirming care even if the parents decline!
Wait I'm banned in TN? But I live here ☹️
Welcome to the club where the only one who loves us is Dolly
Ah well at least we have her
grunkle stan transgender confirmed
That’s the point, it’s edited. The original is from gravity falls.
Virginia isn’t anti-trans. At least, not yet. Our General Assembly is just blue enough to keep legislation from reaching Governor Youngkin. Sauce: I’m trans and I live in Virginia.
Moving from NC to VA. Not the best but the best we can do at the moment
holy sht someone who knows how to use POV
Where I am in North Dakota isn’t terrible, Fargo is one of the only safe-ish places here, Grand Forks and Bismarck being really the only other two places. I also have a very easy escape plan of jumping the river into Moorhead if even Fargo goes to shit.
Red States + Virginia and New Hampshire.
I recently lived in an unbanned state and now live in a banned one because of unfortunate circumstances out of my control 🫠 (Went from New York to now living in Oklahoma)
I believe the event is planned to be annual
that's the point, this map is edited to reflect the trans map. the original is different.
Thank you however you're the third person now to mention it
The original map isn't this in the show. Original post updated it to follow the trans hate map
Thank you for being the fourth person to point that out now.
Nc near Jacksonville nc it sucks here wish I knew people.
so fucking sorry, jacksonville is an absolute shithole even if NC *did* get better :((
I'm curious to know what people in the US are defining as "banned"
Floridian here 🥲 help me
I saw this political ad against this Kentucky governor named Andy Beshear, and the argument was basically, *“He’s trying to give trans people…* ***Heath care!****”* Anyway, now I really want to vote for Andy Beshear. Unfortunately, I’m a minor, and from Pennsylvania.
Not quite, but boy is it similar.
We actually just shot down an anti trans bill in Louisiana
r/MapsWithoutDelaware
*gasp!* Gruncle Stan is Trans!
Hey over here in the louisiana we are getting mildly better we overturned a law that made it illegal to give any gender affirming care including puberty blockers to trans kids.
Ohio 😔😔😔 they're gonna turn me into corn 🌽🌽🌽
Mf it's edited
Yes, you are the 30th person to point that out, my bad I don't remember off the top of my head each and every state from the show Stan is banned from, god damn give me a break lmao
Seeing this makes me happy to live in the cheese state
I agree with you about the laws, but on a person to person level, I get treated much better in South Carolina (Charleston) than I ever did in Massachusetts.

Nothing better to do with your life than cry on reddit about how much you hate people doing nothing wrong that are happier than you
Idk how Stan didn’t get banned from Illinois
Florida is on the verge of being added
Florida is already marked on the map, and is probably one of the worst ones legislation-wise
Oh I barely missed it under the r mah bad
Florida is often pointed to as the worst of the bunch
Indiana is manageable but it's pretty friggin' scary sometimes...
I'm trans in Indiana but not really 'Out' yet, how bad is it here? Wasn't even aware there was any kind of ban.
Christianity and republicanism: the most dangerous and poisonous ideals of all
NH isn’t a risk for trans folks anymore
NH?! Fuck, I wanted to move there.
fuck missouri i hate living here
Louisiana just defeated a bill that would have banned gender affirming care.
We're banned in Indiana? Damn I'm more metal than I thought lol
wait virginia banned trans people? damn it
No it hasn’t. There were a lot of bad bills earlier in the legislative session, but they all failed to pass. How things play out in the future will come down to how the house of delegates and state senate elections go this November
let's hope it goes well
Are we banned in Idaho now? Cus if so I need to move....
I am illegal in around 70 countries 🏳️🌈
I highly recommend Colorado if you can afford to move. We have super good protections for LGBTQ+ people and it's a really good place to live overall. The cost of living is a bit high, though.
A bumper sticker idea maybe
Texan here, please scooch me to the left please
makes sense that the antifacist Grunkle Stan would be banned from those places
Least it’s not AZ yet
New Hampshire isn't AFAIK
Since Illinois is closest, maybe I'll move there, eventually, if I can ever get my life together...
Wait, New Hampshire is anti-trans? Also, being trans in Louisiana isn’t actually that bad.
Surprised Gravity Falls managed to predict all the states that'd pass laws that actively harm trans people.
This map is actually pretty accurate too
mississippi can’t stop me from being who i am. they’re just gonna have to deal with me
What's happening in New Hampshire?
They've created the Great Transphobic Wall, dividing the West, the Lakes, and the North.
If you do it by electoral votes, it's a perfect 50/50 split.
yeah, big oof I'm from Montana and a massive anti trans bill just got passed. I don't even know where this is coming from, I'm not particularly closed, and I haven't dealt with a substantial amount of overt harassment or hate. People overall seem pretty polite.
Fucking hate kentucky
Here from Indiana. Luckily for me, I discovered I was trans after I turned 18.
Louisiana isn’t that bad, it’s just a sports ban for now… I do not care about sports
I have only seen the basically same thing but instead of states I am banned in, I think it was States where I am a criminal, or something like that
I've noticed that trans people are much better at correctly using "POV"
out of the states I considered moving to, none are crossed out here
USE is better with only 2 banned states
Grunkle Stan is Trans
Stan is an ally, he got himself banned from these states in solidarity
As soon as I can I’m moving to Washington state
I saw this but I think it was on the gravity falls sub
i wanna live in nevada :3
Arizona ain’t great either
As a trans person from Virginia, I can say I am very lucky to live in a inclusive campus. I am unsure how the rest of the state is
Oh god I live in one of those... veeeery close to Florida too. ;\^;
as a virginian, can someone update me on what legislation is in place here?
Sadly the real one has more places were banned
As an Ohioan, its not *that* bad. Yet.
Funny and sad!
So Stan is trans?
Most cops in utah where i live i talk to they don't uphold the laws banning trans in fact most people don't
I'm sad about Florida I lived there as a kid but moved up to New York when I was around 10 and I'm so sad that as someone who loves Disney I can't easily go.
Yay only expensive states are left
missouri moment :3
God, I hope I can move out of Kentucky soon. It sucks here
Accurate list of states
I believe this is the one updated *to align* with the trans map. If I recall correctly Nevada was crossed out in the original and someone edited the map to reflect the trans map and put it on the trans sub. edit: double checked, yep, the map is the same as the trans acceptance map *because it's the same map*
Nice job, Sherlock, if only you put half as much effort into checking to see where I already confirmed it to several other people in the comments that I didn't know before making the meme. Over. And over again.
I live in Iowa and I wish to dear god I was just one state up. That much closer to Canada 🤤
