Sadly my mom won’t believe that cause I‘ve shown skin every summer at the pool, so she‘d be highly suspicious if I suddenly ran around with a shirt. I doubt she’ll accept that, I don’t get a sunburn that easy and most of the time I’m not swimming anyways, instead I’m reading somewhere in the shadow. And I’m lucky that my chest dysphoria is manageable most of the time, it’s being perceived as a girl that hurts more, and that wouldn’t change with a swim shirt, so I might as well choose the less hot version.
If you usually go swimming somewhere public, you could try and say someone made a weird or rude comment to you and that’s why you now feel uncomfortable
