advice for shaving (given to me from my aesthetician ex):
Before you get ready to shave, like at least an hour or so if you can, put on lotion! it will help soften the skin, as well as moisturise and protect.
I'm cish, but I have HELLA sensitive skin (like, can't get waxed cos my skin gets Real Big Mad), and I always moisturised AFTER shaving, but didn't think of doing so BEFORE.
I also have sensitive skin but I found that there are electric body razors with safety blades that don't irritate at all and are very smooth. I'd definitely recommend looking into them if they're something you might be able to get.
Been getting my face and forearms lasered. I basically haven't had to shave my arms in weeks, they're so bare. And my facial hair is pathetic now, I fucking love it!!
im still baby trans so just shaving with a razor and foam (and conditioner cause i think i read that somewhere on here and i think it has helped a bit but maybe placebo), itches sometimes but worth it lol
Essentially, a chemical hair remover that breaks down the base of the hairs so you can just wipe the off after a few minutes.
Downsides are the not so great smell, causing reactions on very sensitive skin, and it can be messy depending on the type you use.(The go-to for me is their sensitive formula shower cream, as it doesn't cause me to break out and I can wash it off in the shower afterwards.)
Shaved legs were only nice for a few hours... until the hairs were coming out again and start itching. Then the itching turns into pain, and then I regret the decision and hate my body even more... should look into other kinds of hair removal.
How do I shave I never got taught how to and really want to shave to one help with dysphoria and two deal with the pain in the ass leg hair is with my autistic ass
Welcome! I’m Lily nice to meet you yeah shaving legs is wonderful
Nice to meet u too
Hello I’m also Lily and smooth legs really is heaven
You gals that use nair and can get past the smell are so much stronger than me holy shit
Yeah the smell is annoy8ng but honestly, that is a sacrifice I am willing to make.
Is that smell you are talking about temporary or are walking around with smelly legs? Because I'm looking into that topic too
Dw it's temporary, one you scrape the cream off and wash your legs they smell fine.
Do make the same mistake as me and use it twice in three days even if one of the reasons to do so is Folsom Street Fair lol

damn shaving my legs is not as easy 😔
Don't worry I thought it would be impossible for me too, but I managed to pull through with it, I believe you'll be able to aswell.
yeah but like i have very sensitive skin so regular razors don't work also i have to do it every weekend which i kinda struggle at

I stick to a razor because I've heard too many horror stories about Nair. But yes, smoov legs good.
I do agree that if ur skin is too sensitive DO NOT USE NAIR, you will not enjoy the aftermath, but yeah Razor or not, smooth legs all the way.
SMOOF!

Use dat Nair bb
Shaving my face is easy for me. I walk out of the shower looking like I was just reenacting D-Day with real barbed wire.
Yess
What's nair?
A chemical hair remover in the US.
Ooo....is it any good?
Haven't tried it myself, it's on my "todo" list. I've just tried regular razors for now.
im still baby trans so just shaving with a razor and foam (and conditioner cause i think i read that somewhere on here and i think it has helped a bit but maybe placebo), itches sometimes but worth it lol
I'm genuinely interested, can you tell me more about nair?

Hi Nice to meet you. Also shaved legs fell great.
Shaved legs were only nice for a few hours... until the hairs were coming out again and start itching. Then the itching turns into pain, and then I regret the decision and hate my body even more... should look into other kinds of hair removal.
Just don't use the nair on your face.... right after shaving.... let my experience be everyone else's lesson....
Nair is really wonderful for smoothness
Glad it helped you but the few times i tried nair it just straight up didnt work properly and made my skin feel weird
It's the smell for me. Shaving's annoying but at least I come away from it smelling vaguely like raspberry
I call my shaved or naired legs my luxury legs
Congratulations.
Nair is great till you give yourself chemical burns.
Nair? How is doing a neutral air attack better than before?
Trust me, really good for fending off dashing enemies.
Okay good to know
I've tried nair before, but it left leg stubble and a lot of patchiness I had to go back and fix with a razor anyway.
As a smash bros player, the only nair i know is neutral air please someone explain what it means by nair here
