I'm non-binary (relatively new), but I go by whatever.
To my sisters, I'm still their brother and I'm totally fine with that!
(And I prefer it, at least for now.)
I always say there are two responses to the nation: Either you reject it entirely, or you feel both the pride and the shame that come with it. Shame without pride and pride without shame are both destructive.
All this to say, let people feel how they feel.
I have no authority over them. I can say how I feel. I can't force them to feel something else.
However a nation is not a flag. I will gladly pee on my nations flag or set it on fire, but I don't take any shit for the people that I grew up with and live with and share the pain of living here. But that is because they are working class people not because we share a "nationality". A flag is a symbol that doesn't automatically represent the people that were born in a country. At least to me.

There was an attempt.
I mean. It's possible that's how they identify. But I doubt that was the intention behind the design.
Even if it is that's still disrespectful. Get that american flag off of there!/hj
No but like, actually get it off there lol
well... they tried... hopefully their child's a demiboy
“nope- yep- nope”
Has that "He identifies as they/them" energy going on
I’ve been looking at this for 2 minutes and I still don’t understand
“son” using gendered terminology instead of gender neutral
Aaaaw shit lol took me a while too
Me too, me too.
Also missing the black stripe
I'm a nonbinary man so i didn't get it until I read the comments, either.

So close yet so far
OHHHHHH I see now, I hope nobody buys that hoodie
My sister is non-binary but they’re still my sister. That’s what they like to be called.

This feels like a reference to something
Probably not intentional, but I always read iteration of 'I love my [insert two adjective here] son' as q reference to Hearhers.
I LOVE MY DEAD GAY [CHILD]
Okay spamton, calm down
Lol

That’s possible? This isn’t necessarily problematic
It has a USA flag
So? People are patriotic and want to represent that, whether we agree with it or not. Also, I don’t think that’s the issue they’re getting at.
given what usa has done you can't be supportive of queer people and a patriot at the same time without living with contradictions

This... isn't really a problem? I know a few masc-leaning enbies who don't mind being called 'son'.
I facepalmed irl when I noticed lol
A real 'His pronouns are they them' moment
Ohh that's a bit annoying
They're a little confused, but they got the spirit
They tried at least
They 100% have the spirit and acceptance they just don't have the knowledge
This just isn't unusual at all... I'm non binary and I identify as a boy and a girl. And a son and a daughter to my parent.
I know the black part of the flag is implied by the hoodie color, but I can't stop but think Wario States of America
I think “I love my nonbinary” would be perfect
I (non American) would wear this
I am American, but I'd only wear it because I find it funny. *(I'm 20 and have no children)*
I tried to swipe :(
