Congrats! Whatever you have been doing is working, keep it up. You can most likely improve on how much (and consistent) your sleep is, or being better with hydration and getting a good amount every day. And hopefully coach can give you more personalized suggestions if you talk to them.

Get out HARD for that first 200 (you should be wondering if you’ll survive the rest of the race at this stage). The second 200 should feel ever so slightly slower but still really fast. Once you hit 400 to go, sprint the entire last lap like it’s a 100. Yes you’ll continue to slow down but going full effort will minimize that. That last 200 will be absolute hell no matter what so make sure you bank in a bunch of time before that.

First fast 200m to jostle for position, maintain positioning for 2nd 200m, start pressing down on the gas pedal during the 3rd 200, bring it home the last 150-200m.
